I just came across the "What's up with Seymore Butts' DVDs?" topic that was posted here in December 2001. In that topic it was mentioned that Penthouse Magazine has published pictorials that included fisting pictures.
Anybody out there who is aware of specific issue/volume numbers? I guess they must be from a few years back, when Clinton was still in the White House?
As an avid PENTHOUSE subscriber a few years back, I can say you are correct. In the publications of 1999-2002, I can remember Penthouse showing pissing and fisting on a regular basis. I thought for certain it would lead to corporate gains unfathomable to the average porno print media mogul.
Apparently I am not president of the fallen/resurrected company for good reason...but I digress...
Since then, I cannot vouch for Penthouse's content, but I seem to recall a few recent peeks at the mag that included much of the same. What I wonder is why they are allowed to show penetration on one page, fisting on another, pissing on another, and a cum shot to wrap it up...but we can't shoot that same content on video in real time. What gives? Why is print media allowed to capture such imagery, produce and distribute it domestically, and yet the video pornographer is not?
Well I'm not an avid Penthouse reader but have bought a few in my day and I've never seen pissing or fisting in it. There have been some simulated scenes in the pages but I must have bought the wrong issues,lol. I did get the Madonna one when it came out and I think Samantha Fox the British singer was in it also.
A lot of the fisting and some of the peeing was shot in black and white. As we all know, if it's in black & white its art, if its in colour its pornography.
They had a lot of that -- usually if not always presented in arty B&W. The pissing stuff was in color as well.
Penthouse has very tame photo spreads now. It's really not the same magazine it was, though I am biased towards the 70s and early 80s, as Penthouse was my prime masturbatory inspiration (plus watching Sheree Johnson bend over by the card catalog in the library in her cut off denim shorts, but as I could not summon her at will the magazine had to suffice ...)
According to some business news reports, the stockholders of the Penthouse company weren't please that the pics were moving toward extreme hardcore. So they dialed it back.
Hi,dito ! ... i was wondering the same when i first saw it. I even wondered why can Penthouse show it and HUSTLER can not ... since they have been more extreme all the time.
if i remember it right, flynt has (had?) a magazine out called "taboo". it contained harder stuff then the usual ones filled with pissing, fisting and light weight sm content too.
i had an online subscription to it a few years before and i liked it :)

I thought Hustler had dropped pissing altogether in their videos and mags, but yesterday I bought the July 2005 issue (US Edition) and surprisingly it has one photo with pissing.
I'd call that the owners of the company saying what direction that they wanted to company to go.
I have no problem with someone with a vested interest in the company complaining about something. Someone with no money on the table & a bible in their hand complaining otoh....
I'd like to thank everybody who has contributed to this threat so far. I certainly got a better idea on the topic already.

Before anyone gets confused, If you want hardcore you would be better off picking up Playboy or Maxium. No kidding! Penthouse pictorals are now the worst out there as they attempt to soften thier image. They have even cut thier subscription price in half! To keep this thread on topic I want to add having subscribed to Penthouse for at least 10 years I never saw any fisting although I could have missed it. I can however guarantee you 1000% that you will not find Anything remotely close to fisting in a newer copy of Penthouse.
Taboo regularly has pissing. I subscribe to Hustler and the only pissing i've seen is in adverts either for Taboo or phone sex. I saw a documentary about porn photography and it said Penthouse was about the fist mag to show pissing. Bob Guccione explained how a woman sent him a photo of herself pissing and said "have you ever seen a photo like this" He hadn't but thought it was so great so published it and more like it. This was apparently when he starting shooting the girls from a distance with thigs between them and the camera to give a voyeuristic feel. The pissing was added to this style.
You may also want to check out the pictorial "Chantelle Fontain, Making A Splash" in the April 2005 issue of HUSTLER (US edition).
It's true however, I also feel that in general, HUSTLER has reduced the pissing pictorials drastically. I remember issues where 3 out of 6 pictorials featured peeing, for example the one with Monica Mayhem on the cover (yes, Monica did pee in that one).
Also, the pictures appear to be much tamer these days. Does anybody remember the HUSTLER issue that had Bunny Luv as centerfold? The picture of Bunny pissing all over the place has really burned itself into my memory.
That's exactly the reason why I asked for references to older PENTHOUSE issues, I didn't expect any fisting in newer copies.
Again, in a December 2001 threat, teamtushy mentioned in this forum that they planned to introduce PENTHOUSE fisting pictures into Seymore Butts' obscenity trial, so I guess there must be something out there.
As to Hustler reducing its peeing pictorials, didn't Clive McLean die a while back? He seemed to be the major pee fanatic.
In the immortal words of Joe Bob Briggs "Sometimes I read Hustler, but only for the articles." Since the articles in Hustler generally are geared towards long-term prison inmates............
Yeah Clive died though he's still listed as senior photographer and unrealeased shoots will appear for a while yet i guess. The pictorial Joey mentioned was by Matt Klatt.
Fascinating observations in regards to the "artsy" delivery of the pissing and fisting pics. Although I have none of the issues anymore, the pics I remember most vividly are exactly as you guys have described...B/W, grainy fisting shots, and pretty pissing pics, accentuated with colored lighting reflecting off shiny black, wet floors and such.

Penthouse May 1999, US edition. There's a layout by Ken Marcus featuring model Cody Lee fisting herself (in the vagina, natch) and pissing, with some anal toy play. And check out the March 2001 magazine. They have porn stars Brittany Andrews and Chloe in an Earl Miller-shot layout that involves rimming, pussy clamps, anal enemas, and Brittany fisting Chloe with her latex gloved hands. I got both of these issues, along with some other Penthouse mags of their "golden" era (1994-2004) that may feature these certain acts.
And also agreeing with Phatbasey on the new Penthouse; their new, softer image blows. I heard the magazine went this direction to attract more advertising sponsors other than the alcohol and tobacco ones they have now.
"Fisting" makes it sound as if they're punching their way in (to a judge or prosecutor), when in reality fisting is one of the more gentle sex acts and not violent at all.
Funny as it seems, on the rare occasions I've bought any of these in the last, say 11 years, it has been for an article. Well, not Hustler, but I haven't bought that at all.
