I tend to avoid stores that do, given the amount of effort needed to get the information to them. Also a secondary question. I noticed a banner ad here advertising a $20 flat fee for Fed Ex orders from Five Star, yet when i click on shipping costs on their site, it says $22 plus $1.50 per item. Which is correct? I'd take advantage of the flat fee, but the other option is a little too expensive. Cheers  [Link] |
| cykedout Member Ireland 245 Posts 8/00 | Posted - Dec 8 2003 : 1:48PM As for the shipping options, I just checked the rates for Ireland as against Australia and the FedEx shipping options, especially the flat fee ones are not available to Australia, whereas they are to Ireland. I don't know why this is so, but that's why you can't find the flat fee option that you spotted on the banner ad. Maybe you can contact them and ask???  [Link] |

Would have loved to have used your company, however i refuse to pay more then the next foreign customer for the exact same delivery mode. Guess i will have to find a store that doesn't discriminate against Australian customers. Couldn't imagine many Australian customers would give you their business given the current situation. We would love to offer FedEx service to Australia but at this time we are unable to. I can assure you that this was not our decision and we are not discriminating against our Australian customers. Due to the nature of shipping adult products internationally, sometimes there are certain restrictions that must be dealt with. However we are hopeful that this situation will change soon. | scipio Senior Member 1901 Posts 2/00 | Posted - Dec 11 2003 : 6:55AM I know that Fivestar are aware of this and not particularly happy with the situation (as it obviously costs them Australian customers like yourself and myself), but since the ball here is in FedEx's court, there's really nothing more that Fivestar can do on this issue when FedEx refuses to carry the items. I agree that it sucks, but your options are basically you can order from Fivestar using their other shipping methods,(and I have to say, that Ken and Ethan are responsible for the best customer service I've come across from an Adult retailer) or you can order from one of the several other excellent retailers active here. cheers, scipio [Link] |
