Hi I am in Australia, I am interested to know what experience you have had with FEDEX shipping.

Is there a maximum amount to be under to avoid GST etc to Australia. does this total include the $18 fedex shipping?

I've ordered though Fivestar and used Fedex several times without any problems. However, I just put in an order and have not yet received a Fedex tracking number which I am a little worried about. But I'm sure it will be ok.

It seems that the value of the contents needs to be under $250AU in order to get through without much customs attention. Ive found anything over that can incure customs charges and GST, which amounts to roughly $80AU.

The $18 US shipping charge is not included as part of the calculations.

If you order with Fivestar, you can order roughly 5 full price DVDs and you will be given the option of two or three free DVDs. As long as you dont go over 8 discs in total it will only cost $18US shipping. Order more discs than that and the shipping price goes up.

The good thing about Fedex is that you can track the order right from the time it leaves to just about the time it arrives.
