| The_Poker Member Australia 59 Posts 6/02 |  Posted - May 25 2003 : 2:54AMI tried placing an order on Fivestars website a few weeks ago and noticed that they no longer provide a Fedex service to Australia. The $18 flat rate was by far my favourite shipping method. I tried to email them to ask if it was a mistake or in fact true, but after a week or so I still have no reply. Does anyone know if the Fedex service has actually stopped to Oz and are the other overseas options that Fivestar offer just as good? The other issue that I have is that every other postage method they use ends up being expensive for 8 or more DVDs. Edited by - The_Poker on May 25 2003 [Link] |

| scipio Senior Member 1901 Posts 2/00 | Posted - Jun 11 2003 : 11:13AM I know it's legal to bring in DVDs for personal use as far as Australian customs goes (with the usual disclaimers regarding prohibited-type materials), so the issue seems to lie with FedEx or perhaps FedEx's communication with Australian Customs. It certainly makses no sense to me but I'm sure Fivestar are just going by what they're told by FedEx. scipio [Link] |
