Me too, especially since WOMD #2 was really dissapointing. Mark Wood and Jon Strong, WTF? I thought JJ's stuff was supposed to be of the highest quality and we have to endure watching these guys doing the ladies. Might as well put Ron Jeremy in it.

Instead of remastering FH4, I would rather see them continue to get the backlog of titles on DVD.
Besides, it wasn't that big of a deal anyway. Too much fuss was made about it.
That's purely a matter of opinion. Some people hate condoms and won't buy movies that contain them. Other people don't mind them. To the people who don't mind them, the issue's not a big deal and too much fuss is made over it. To people who hate condoms, it's a HUGE deal, and not enough fuss is made over it.

...and I would rather Evil Angel spend more time getting the Joey backlog out on DVD than to worry about a watermark.
I have seen Feeding Frenzy, and have watched it through, but that watermark, while at times is annoying, is barely noticeable. But maybe I wasn't looking in the bottom corner the whole time.
Anywho, opinions...

Bill,
I agree that it is a matter of opinion.
However, at the same time that everyone was talking (negatively and positively) about the watermark, I happened to pick up some RLD titles that suddently had 'navigation' thingies on the screen. They covered about the same amount of space as the 'watermark' that caused so much controversy. No one said anything about them, or objected to them. They were as obtrusive, or unobtrusive, as the controversial watermark.
I started a thread on the navigation thingie, where lots of people chimed in.
I'm glad alot of us made a big to do over the watermark, cause now its gone, just like the navigation thingie. Its great that some porn producers listen and respond.
Now if we could only get rid of the TV station watermarks...
Then you missed a few threads. The fact that the addition of these menus caused the DVD's to work improperly caused this to be the bigger complaint than the actual menus, but there were definitely suggestions that, once they fixed the problems, RLD make the menu an option rather than a requirement.
The biggest difference between the RLD menus and the JJ watermark was that the RLD menus were there to provide the viewer with something extra (the ability to jump to a specific segment of the movie). The JJ watermark did nothing other than detract from the quality of the image on my screen.
Good luck. I actually read a post at AVS Forum that an engineer from our local PBS station told someone that the reason that they weren't showing the PBD HD demo loop on their HD channel is that they didn't have the equipment to place the watermark on the HD signal yet and that it is an FCC requirement that they have the bug .
Either this guy (A) is full of shit, (B) is really stupid, or (C) works for someone who told him this. If C is the case, then A or B applies to the guy he works for.

whoops,
Guess I did miss a few threads somewhere. I know that the menu navigation thingies didn't work well on my DVDs, but the discs seemed to play okay otherwise.
