constance le or anyone else at DVSX,

Why is it when I attempted to play a trailer on your company’s website the only thing that loads is the part of the Quick Time player which contains the play button, the volume control, and the duration bar? Everything else does not appear, not the Quick Time window, nor does the audio to the trailer.

Did you allow the trailer to download all the way. Quicktime often starts out that way until a significant portion of the download has been achieved. For instance, if you had a 2MB download it would wait until 2 or 300K had been received to open the viewer window.

Picman,

Yes I did. But when I press play after it fully loads neither the audio nor visual appear to work.

alex, everything is working for me.

Seems like a kind of flaw in your connection. Try to refresh the window with CTRL+F5 if you'r using Internet Explorer.

alex,

sounds like it might be a plugin/preferences issue. also, some windows users may have to download the file in order to play it.

have you ever been able to play any of the clips at dvsx.com?

does your quicktime player work at other sites?

do you have the newest version of quicktime installed?

what OS and browser are you using?

please send your answers to webmaster@dvsx.com

thanks!

Mr. Peter,

I tried your suggestion, but it doesn’t seem to be working.

Thanks anyway.

constance le,

I recently got a DSL line, so this is the first time I’m attempting to view your company’s trailers.

The browser I’m currently using is Internet Explorer.

I’ve been able to view Quick Time Clips on other sites, like Evil Angel.

I have the newest version of the Quick Time Player.

It might be a browser plug-in that you're missing or has been corrupted. The Evil Angel files are .mov files and I think that DVSX uses .mpg. Try downloading them and playing them in the actual player instead of the browser window.

Sorry, just checked and DVSX also uses .mov files. They do load differently than Evil's do.
