It's basically an element of DVD extras footage...however, it gets its name by the fact that it must be sought out using your remote's arrows...it's hidden on the screen & will only appear if you stumble upon it. Since it is not considered part of the actual feature, it is not subject to all the US Code, guidelines that limit the extent of how extreme the content is on a particular disc.
My knowledge on this is rather novice-like, so anyone feel free to correct me when incorrect.
That's not true. It just that since it is hidden, it is unlikely that someone will "accidentally" stumble upon it. Therefore, the potential for prosecution is less likely.
Oh...Thank you for clearing that up, I had no idea....while we're on the subject, is this also true for the behind the scenes/dvd extras footage included in the upcoming release heavily promoted by Bridgette, "Sodomy: Law of the Land"?
