Does anyone know where I might be able to find a copy of Extreme Associates' 2002 remake of Forced Entry on DVD? It's probably no longer available (with the obscenity charges and all), but I thought I would ask nonetheless.
I'm trying to stock up before the government bans porn altogether.
Thanks!

I have the original with Jamie Gillis, not the remake.
I have a copy of it, it mostly looks like shit.
Truly a scary and creepy movie,

I don't think the Extreme Associates version was ever available on DVD.

I'm confused. The original stars Harry Reems and is available in a poor version from Alpha Blue Archives and an excellent version from After Hours Cinema. The Extreme Associates version, which isn't a remake but a different movie, was only available on VHS.

I get Waterpower confused with Forced Entry. Waterpower had Jamie Gillis and Forced Entry had Harry Reems, right?
FLASH, you have to understand that my collection is a bit disorganized to say the least.

I have boxes and boxes of VHS cassettes and folders full of DVDs and VCDs. Sometimes I get confused.

I can give you Waterpower, but Forced Entry might be out.

I am down to only one VHS, which I'm giving to a friend as I replaced it a couple of weeks back. I ran out of room for my DVDs though and have actually managed to buy the same title twice a few times as I didn't think I had it.
As for DAF1740, you are probably out of luck. Extreme Associates seems to have stopped selling most of their titles over the last year. When I last tried e-mailing them all of the addresses I tried from their site bounced back. You could try to find a VHS in the trading forum here or the adult areas of eBay. Other than that I'm not aware of any places that sell used adult VHS.

Conquistador and Flash,
Thanks to both of you for the info. I had the same problem with emails to Extreme Associates bouncing back; I guess it's all over for them. It's too bad it never came out on DVD (I don't even have a VCR!).

I am confused a bit. Are you looking for the original or the remake?

My local porn store has the Extreme "Federal Five." Right after Rob Black was indicted they put those up for rentals. Still there to this day (but only on VHS).
I watched Forced Entry and must tell you IMHO, the uproar was over the simulated violence and combining it with the sex acts. The plot is bad, the acting is bad, the effects are bad...the entire movie is just abysmal. Should you buy a VCR and the tape, you will be kicking youself for wasting such time and money. I know you pobably want to see it because it's kinda "famous," but don't bother.

The The,
Thanks for the advice! Do you think the original version (which is available on DVD) is worth getting, or is that a waste of money, too?

The 1970s version of Forced Entry is worth it depending on what you are looking for. I didn't find it overly erotic but I enjoyed it as an exploitation film. Bear in mind, as I stated earlier in this thread, they aren't the same movie remade but are two completely different movies with the same title. If you are looking to pick it up, this is the edition to buy.

I can't say, as I have never seen the original [and never even heard of it until this thread].

Flash,
Yeah, I would definitely get the After Hours version (probably from xploitedcinema.com).
Thanks again, all of you.

The Extreme video is really terrible. It fails on every level, even if you "like this kind of stuff."
It was basically around that time when it became readily apparent what an idiot Rob Black is. That people continued to work for the dude, even now, is also a testament to their idiocy (Shane Bugbee, what up?). Though I'd give Tom Byron a pass. One of the good things about the economic collapse of the porn industry is that it will probably drive Extreme out of business. I'm hoping Rob has lots of company.
Then again, there are a lot of people in porn who inherently desire to be badly used and sh*t on, so who I am to judge?

^ By the economic collapse of the porn industry, do you mean people are buying less porn now, or are there just too many new companies each taking a small piece of the pie?

They appear to have already driven themselves out of business. I just hope someone good picks up their titles at the garage sale as I'd love to see nicer releases of Thomas Zupko's movies.
