Hello all, longtime listener first time caller.I have a question about girls like alicia rhodes layla jade and monica mayhem. How do these girls work in the us i thought that it was hard to just turn up in LA and start working in porn,I always thought working visa were hard to come by.If anybody knows that would be great. By the way alicia rhodes is just the hottest girl around at the moment. MIKE.

I think Layla had already been making films in Europe so she already had a track record. As far as moving to Silicone Valley, you can stay here for a month or two on "vacation" before you have to go back. Plenty of time to make a few bucks.
Maybe I'm all wet on the subject, and maybe Layla can help us out now that she is a member, but it would seem to me that it would be quite easy to be in Porn, and make numerous movies in the US while living or atleast maintaining citizenship Abroad.
Most adult movies still only take a couple days to make, so you could feasibly come over to the US, make 5 or 6 features in a couple months, and return to Europe to fill up the bank account.
Work visas, can be quite difficult to procure, I have a race driver friend, who has found getting and keeping a work visa problimatic in the US.
I dont think it would have to be any different from a hollywood movie being shot in Africa or Australia for 6 weeks.
That's probably why so many of these girls come to the states for a short period of time, work like hell and then go home. They're probably here on a tourist visa and working illegally.
On the other hand, when an employer sponsors a person as having skills that can't necessarily be easily found in the US, work visas are not that difficult to come by.
Actually, since I had just read the thread started by Layla Jade, I was picturing Patrick Collins talking to an immigration agent with a photo of Layla in his hand saying "But look at the fucking tits on her!!!".
But I guess your thought works just at well (if not better).
Probably not. Performers are hired as independent contractors, not as employees. The studios don't do any withholding for these performers. But they probably have to file 1099's. I wonder how that works (if it does at all).
hello all, i read that monica mayhem got married to craven moorhead a while back and that now there no longer together?.But i think u have to be married longer than a few months to gain residence in usa. Also i read the transcript of layla jade's chat and someone asks her why she doesnt live in the states and she says visa issues ?. Wheres selena silver when u need her.:( MIKE.
