I came across this new Euro porno series called "Forgive Me Father" (ForgiveMeFather.com), in which they show a message: "Warning - The girls featured in these videos wanted their identities to be hidden"
They blur out the faces of the female pornstars so as to "protect their identities".
I won't be signing up to it. A woman's looks are non-negotiable to me. No matter how good or enthusiastic her performance is, I won't enjoy a porn scene if I don't know what she looks like.

Lol just checked it out. One of the scenes(22 Year Old Confesses Her Sins) with the girl and guy's face blurred is clearly Ian Scott/Yannick Shaft and Rebecca Volpetti.

haha, are you telling from her tattoos? lol
they forgot to blur her face for that scene in one of the banners, check it out: https://assets-land-ht.contentdef.com/P1TOUR/FMF/fmf_default_v0/tophomebanner/pc/spot2.jpg
^ I like the girl next door types very much but I also like to spend my money at my discretion.
If there is porn that is not to my liking, particularly in a deal breaking way such as the female performer's face being censored in this instance, I will choose not to spend my money on a subscription/one-off sale. I'm surprised that this concept needs to be explained to an adult.
And I was just answering your question in my original reply man. The girl-next-door look is not unique to "Forgive Me Father" so the argument of the site having girls-next-door doesn't fill me with any drive or compulsion to become a member.
I wouldn't care if such a site was available to watch for free, I'm still not signing up as I don't find the premise of women being censored particularly arousing. There are many things I would rather spend my time on than porn that doesn't turn me on.

sorry it wasn't very clear, and you had such an unusual strong reaction lol
anyway, back to the topic, I think its not just the look, but the possibility of having actual girls-next-door. That's what made GirlsDoPorn so popular, but they cheated their girls.
You have "actual" girls next door in many other porn studios where the women aren't portrayed as the stereotype of a porn performer but like an everyday woman. I just don't see what distinguishes this particular girl next door portrayal enough to persuade me to buy into it because of the deal breakers I had already mentioned.

well an actual girl-next-door would be a girl who is too ashamed to do porn, like most girls are. this site seems to use existing pornstars, but it could be pretty cool with genuine girls-next-door
I just thought the definition of girl next door was that they had a natural, regular and unpretentious air to them but they were still attractive. I didn't realise the definition had been updated to also mean such women wouldn't want to to porn out of shame.
Are we merely going with your personal definition or a more widely established definition of what constitutes as a girl next door?

what I mean is that to be more like an average girl is to also be ashamed of doing porn, as the average girl is.

GirlsDoPorn built their popularity and success off this "genuineness", and they believed that they had to lie to all those women in order to do that.
^ They did have to lie to those women in order to pull it off.
To find one (or some) women who don't want to do porn but are willing to shoot a porn scene for you is possible. Difficult, but possible.
But to find a steady stream of such women is just not tenable. There's no way to guarantee yourself weekly updates of women unwilling to do porn, who are doing it nonetheless.
So the only way you can make this happen is to cheat the system somehow. Either you lie to the girls like GDP did, or you don't use such girls but pretend you are, which is what this site is doing.
This is not far from what sites like BRCC and ExCoGi and NVG do as well, where they pretend that they are conning women into shooting porn, when really they're just girls who are either dipping their toe into porn (with knowledge that that's what they're doing), or they're just starting in porn and their face isn't well known yet.
But the point is that no matter how you do it, you have to lie somewhere. Whether it's lying to the girls or lying to the viewers, there's just no way to pull off a concept like this truthfully.

But I think its also possible to pull a steady stream of girls like GDP and obscure their faces so they can't be recognized, removing the need to lie to them.
Possible? Sure. Likely? I don't think that it is very likely.
I mean you're literally asking for something that shouldn't occur. Porn with people who don't want to do porn. There's no way to get a steady stream of such scenes.
Making one DVD filled with scenes like this is one thing. But to sustain a site like that with regular updates... it's just not a reliable enough situation.
How can you be sure that you'll be able to convince a new girl each week who doesn't want to do porn that she should do porn (even if her face is obscured)? There's no way. So either the site misses updates often, in which case the subscribers get angry and leave and then you have no money to pay the people who don't want to do porn for them to do porn, or you cheat the system somehow.
If you obscure their faces, they won't be identifiable by them but that's not the same as saying they can't be recognized. There's a clear distinction between the two.
You can still recognize a person from their voice, boobs, scars, tattoos, body shape, etc and if a significant other, friend or whoever is able to make that connection between what they saw on screen and the person they know IRL, the subterfuge of obscuring a performer's face has failed. In today's climate of high definition content, it's all the more easy to spot distinguishing features other than a person's face and identify them from those features.
As Kill Bill alluded to, the idea of casting people in porn where those people don't want to star in porn sounds like an unsustainable business model.
And it's not like that is particularly original either. The Bang Bus has been running a similar-but-different con angle in its presentation as far back as 20 years. (And back then it was at least semi-credible that some girls might not be fully aware that the scene they've agreed to will potentially remain in circulation on the internet for decades.)
I was frankly astounded that the "we're just shooting this for my private collection" lie managed to snooker so many girls at GDP to begin with. What you're suggesting is basically "yes, we're going to put this on the internet, but the only place where you'll be recognizable will be in my private collection". Even if truthful, and leaving aside AP's sensible objection that identifiable != recognizable in the first place: Why should any woman believe that the videos aren't eventually going to go out uncensored anyway?

With GDP, they told them that it was not gonna go onto the internet, but onto DVDs to be sold to private collectors in Australia, a world away from America I guess.
Then when the girls found out that they were famous, GDP just ghosted them.
They also hired a woman to tell the girls that she was one of the GDP pornstars and that no one had found out about her.
Which is pretty unbelievable if they did sell only on DVDs to Aussies, and that business model is also very unbelievable because its not lucrative at all.
For the likelihood of getting a reliable and regular stream of women doing such content being improbable and the risk vs reward analysis not being particularly favourable.
You're going to need a decent number of "actual" girls next door to get yourself started and how long's that going to take to get that pool of content together? As Kill Bill said, how do you ensure you can make regular updates without needing yet more scenes banked to account for no shows or other circumstances that delay a regular update? The dynamic between studio and performer in this hypothetical website won't be like that in a regular porn scene. In a regular porn scene, if the performer flakes/no shows, the studio loses time and money but the performer risks a black mark against their name and their career prospects get smaller - both have skin in the game and stand to lose out. That dynamic is completely one-sided with the hypothetical site you speak of. If the performer flakes/no shows, they will not be any worse off as a black mark against her makes no difference she she wasn't planning to make a career out of one scene you state she wouldn't ordinarily do. The studio wouldn't be so fortunate as it is loses out in time and or money and lacking a site update.
Maybe someone with deep pockets might be interested in creating a site but I don't see it turning a profit or breaking even for a very long time, assuming the site isn't shut down first.

I hope they try to recruit girls who are too ashamed to show their faces doing porn
^Why would you want someone who clearly doesn't want to do porn because she is ashamed of it to do porn? I mean it's one thing to have an unknown/amateur dipping her toes in the adult porn industry but it's quite another to recruit a person who needs the cash and is considering doing something she truly doesn't want to do but is between a rock and hard place?
Aside from the fact that mask or blurred face is a major wood killer for me. I think the women who dip their toes have at least a desire to try it which can translate to enthusiasm and the others are likely miserable which can translate to a train wreck on screen.

Well, I'm referring to a girl who's horny and totally DTF, but doesn't want the shame and judgment from her community. And hopefully not someone who's desperate for cash.
Technically, there are "low budget amateur" sites that have been able to pull off updating regularly with no-names, but that's not the same as updating with girls that don't want to do porn, and even some of them sprinkle in a pro sometimes. The trick, more or less, is having performers that you can rely on to come back and shoot more, but that still don't go "fully pro". So even if you have a string of no-shows, you still can still find a way to get a scene. Sites like GDP can't exist truthfully because, as has been stated before, you can't get a steady stream of new performers like that without lying to people on one end or the other, especially if you're rarely willing to bring them back (and in the case of GDP, enough of them have a shitty time shooting with you that you're unable to bring most of them back).
^I'll go one better and say that it's a lot of discussion about a crappy site that is part of a shittier network. Sadly I guess that's what we are left to talk about.

I don't think the site or network factors into this, I just wanted to bring up a theme in general.

I wonder how ordinary girls would react to a porn series that conceals their facial identities

its like a cheap trick, though i think it could be pretty cool if done for real lol
^You have to realize that someone who is under the influence of a controlled substance is legally speaking not in any position to sign anything and anyone who goes ahead and gets them to sign a waiver could get sued and likely would lose in court.

^Calling it barely legal only makes it hotter.
Anyway, there's quite a few porn models who hide their faces with masks or blur them out of genuine shame rather than appealing to a mask fetish (some of them have been recognized as smalltime glamour/softcore models):
The argentinanaked network. You can see some of the tease/non-nude/"chakuero" models from cl-pass and dl-models doing masked/anonymous nudity on cl-erotic. The extinct mexicanlust.com website's models were mostly masked or would have their faces blurred. I believe their scenes can now be found on the sexmex website. The potonass/latinass network mostly features masked models. Pornstar Diana Cu de Melancia. MaskedASMR (does solo porn on OF etc).
I don't mind if they wear masks or blur the faces. Also I've seen amateur porn where the camera positions/angles are such that the woman's face is never shown. If it allows me to see "amateur" women I otherwise would not see, doing sexy stuff, then I'm all for it and it does not take away from my enjoyment of the scene.
