Okay, this could be a controversial thread. And the caveat is that the adjectives "hot", "wooden", and "robotic" are very subjective. Sometimes, I just get bored by a particular actress, and reach a saturation/habituation point, beyond which I'll actually avoid movies with that actress.

Given all that, which actresses started out hot, but for whatever reason, seem to have gotten jaded (I guess you can only do so many DP, DPP, DAP, anal creampie, cumfart, cumswallow scenes before you run the risk of doing it "by the numbers"). Maybe it's just over-exposure. Or actresses who were hot out of the gate now seem to be "phoning it in".

I'll start...

Lauren Phoenix - I was quite taken with her early performances, but to me she now seems jaded.

Julie Night - Thought she was hot when I first saw her. I think I just reached saturation with Julie, and now she just doesn't do anything for me (I know many others here on ADT still find her hot)

A girl like Mirage/Brianna Banks comes to mind. I mean she was very hot when she just started but then she signed with Vivid and it went downhill with her looks. She lost all that cuteness, very sad.

Teagan, when i first saw her i thought she was the hottest girl in porn but after seeing a good majority of her performances since then, i dont really find her that interesting to watch. i still think she's hot but imo the hype has overtaken her actual performance, which to me comes off as "forced", like she's not really into doing everything she is doing. don't get me wrong, she probably is but there's something that doesnt come off as "real" for me when it's on film.

I'd like to add to this thread girls that came out of the starting blocks doing it all: anal, DP, 3-P, gang bangs, cum swallowing, blow bangs, then, for some reason reverted to mostly or only girl-girl and 1 boy- 1 girl and who were among the hottest in the game. At first it seemed like people were almost afraid to say anything negative about the young lady's newbie-like performances for fear of going against the status quo but since news of the contract and enhancements was leaked it seems the gloves are finally off. How fickle are ADTers, huh?

For the record, I've ALWAYS said these things that people are just now getting the nerve to say:

I don't know about fickle. I think some, like me, just don't post a lot of negative comments about different porn stars.
For me, it is the recognition that everybody has different tastes. What drives you wild may be 'eh' to me.
Some are attracted to the new. When that wears off, it is on to the next new woman of the moment.
Some just don't keep up on the newest, so they have nothing to post either way. By the time it is 'later', they have something to say, sometimes negative.

Yea, I'm a little surprised at it myself but have to say that Crucifixio Jones said it perfectly. Uneasy is the perfect word. After seeing the huge thread I had to check out her scene in Flesh Hunter. It wasn't bad at all but not what I expected with a 60 page thread.

I was perplexed about the Teagan vibe a long time ago as well. Back in the early spring when the Teagan locomotive was under full steam, I made it a point to see at least five of her scenes, and was left to wonder.

When I dared to publicly ask, "What's with all the hype?", I got rained on by the true believers. A couple of times by mods. And I wasn't disrespectful or derogatory towards the girl. That's not the way I write. Here's one of mine from back in April after all the comments about "Service Animals 16" had Teagan getting an Oscar and a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

Friends -

Flower was my favorite girl in that movie, and that scene was my favorite in "Service Animals 16" . And that is saying a lot for me since Kayla Marie and Dana Vespoli, two of my other current favs were in that same movie. I love Flower's body and am disappointed that I haven't seen more of her.

I thought I was the only one that liked anything else in that movie, what with all the hysteria over Teagan.

What's amazing about Julie is she KEEPS doing ridiculous scenes so far beyond the pale of what might be asked of any porn performer, and seems to be kinda into it, even egging the madness on. I didn't get those choices of Cumwhipper's either, but to each his own.

I do believe that the girls can get overexposed, and that might be the case with Lauren Phoenix . Seems like she's been everywhere for the past few months. Hell, I love Katja , but it seemed like there was an awful lot of her out too. So if people got tired of them, I could see that point, if somebody was making it. But not the performance aspect.

And certainly not with Julie Night . She doesn't seem to be working near as much as she used to, but when she does, it's still pretty frightening.

I dig her, but she scares the shit out of me sometimes.

The thing is, you have to catch the girl(s) with the right director/actor/scenario. Katja is at her very best right now, in whatever movie is coming out. She's really hit her stride. And her magnetism as a sexually/aesthetically abundant woman is undeniable, and quite a pleasure to be within the immediate radius of ... she's absolutely electric, you could light up the city of Los Angeles with her smile.

Julie may be out to lunch, and if so, I wanna bite of her sandwich -- in more ways than one.
