The forum section would be geared more towards "Adult Content Creators", which in my feeble mind is defined as people that produce their own stuff and market it direct to consumers. This is OnlyFans, the various cam sites, etc.

I think it would be a worthwhile addition to the forum.

I am thinking the sub-forums could be 1) Cam sites, 2) OnlyFans-like sites (ManyVids, etc.) 3) Creators

I'm not sure if this structure makes sense. Most Creators will have a presence on a cam site and OF, and possibly ModelHub or others.

Speaking of ModelHub, it's essentially PornHub, a site that we haven't allowed people to link to forever because of the rampant promotion of pirated content there in the past. Is that still the case at PornHub? I think a lot of Creators use PH to promote their OF and other publishing outlets.

I will add features to the ADT database to extend the concept of a movie Performer/Actor to also keep track of links/data for Content Creators. That way topics can be tagged with the Creator's name/profile much the way performer topics are currently tagged. It makes it easy to find other topics related to the Creator. (Need a better term than Creator, feels god-like)

- Creators, versus the cam and OF/MV/Indie Scenes. Would that be similar to Star Crossed vs Porn Pool? Eg keep them separate, as in mod moves incorrect posts from Porn Pool to Star Crossed?

- What is Creators vs Star Crossed? Many mainstream stars now do their own content, and indies go mainstream and back.more and more of a blurred line

- On cam sites, you load up on tokens. So, people tend to be "sticky" to their preferred cam sites. On the basis, may make sense to do subforums for each (top 3?) popular sites (CamSoda, Chaturbate, etc) + "others"

- On sites like OnlyFans, ManyVids, people tend to be "sticky" too. I am no expert there. Someone else may know more. May make sense to do sub-forums for the popular sites + "others"?

- Can't comment on ModelHub. Seems to me a secondary place and less active place where creators keep copies of some stuff but keep OF or MV etc as their primary site

- Market changes fast.I guess any type of site organization will require a yearly evolution

- I am not aware of good discussion forums for these 3 main categories. A place with the solid reputation of ADVDT, plus a middle finger to piracy, will probably be super welcomed by a lot of people!

With respect to having sub-forums dedicated to the various cam sites, I have considered it. But there's really not much about the sites to talk about. The discussion will largely be focused on the Creators that happen to use those outlets for publishing their stuff. I doubt people want to talk about the pros/cons of the site features of Chaturbate over MyFreeCams/StreamMate/CamSoda/etc. It's all about the creators. And I think most of the top Creators have a presence on all of the major platforms.

You do bring up a very good point about piracy. Cam content seems to get ripped off and republished almost immediately. It's insane. Of course we wouldn't tolerate linking to sites like that but it will certainly be a game of whack-a-mole for a while. We already get DMCA Takedown requests from copyright protection agencies like Cam Model Protect. They seem to demand the removal of content that simply mentions a Creator's name, not just images. There will be a learning curve in this regard. I hate to get into a pissing match with lawyers over takedown demands for legit forum discussions through the abuse of the DMCA process.

Why wouldn't they want a mention of the name? Their goal is to give Creators complete control over their content and marketing. I'm familiar with Cam Model Protection. They provide the model with a means of specifying which social networks they use for promotion. Basically a list of places where their name/image is allowed to appear. Any other sites get takedown requests.

Is there a way to tell her we'll remove the IG story but the page stays up? (Although maybe the first question I should ask is if it's worth fighting this at all.)

edit: wait I see she hasn't posted on twitter since Feb. I think this is a case of her wanting the universe to forget she ever did porn, while still not ditching her sources of income (twitter promotes onlyfans, fansly etc that she can keep earning money from even though she's retired)
