Patrick, your offer is genuine and generous, however screeners are coordinated and distributed by the administrator, steph. In this way it is slightly separated from the reviewer and there is a much better chance that the review will be how the reviewer sees the movie and rates it - rather then possibly seen as 'bought reviews'. I know you would want 'true' reviews but it is the perception of how the reviews would be looked at by those that read them. I am also temporarily locking this thread until it can be reviewed. I, like so many others, would gladly write a review in exchange for a free DVD, whether it be from Elegant Angel or any other company. However, this is quickly developing into a classroom like atmosphere where we will all lift our hands hoping to be called on. Then the cool kids will beat us up on the recess field for being too eager to answer the teacher's questions. But in the process I have no clue how exactly Patrick could go about figuring and planning this out.

You continued to get review copies as long as you sent comments. Maybe Patrick could establish a reviewers list and the only requirement to stay on the list is to send your comments to EA or post a review. Just my 2 cents. [Link] |
