you can never say i don't contribute anything positive now bitches.

i've already got a previous freebie-license and i haven't tried getting the form, but it looks legit. maybe it's a pain in the ass, but it's worth filling out a form or two. since they released 8.0 and firefox started regressing and puking out bad code like 1.05 i haven't missed the fox and it seems pretty damn slow in comparison after you go on a wild-goose chase for extensions to make it usable. i'm not alone, firefox's market share peaked three months ago and has started falling for the last two.

i'd give ad-free opera a shot if you're not paying for it, it's just faster and better out-of-the box.

Interesting. My very modest needs are being met by Firefox right now, but I'll try anything once. And I can't resist a bargain.

I did open this thread hoping it might be free Renee Fleming mp3s though.

Thanks, I've been using Opera for some time now but have been either too cheap or too lazy to get around to removing the ads. Or maybe a combination of those two oh-so-attractive qualities.

which one of the spam email accounts is the real question?


i can't make any guarantees, but it's from the company itself and coincides with the tenth "birthday" celebration or something so i'm guessing it's a way to get some hype and some market-share without bleeding lost-licensing-fees and it won't have too much fine print or attempts to cripple it and sell up.

You can get one by going to the opera web site and clicking on the 10th anniversary party graphic. Going that way gives you the option to opt out of junk mail.
