| Opium Deactivated User 300 Posts 3/12 |  Posted - Apr 3 2012 : 9:54PMi've noticed that the top approximately 20-30 male pornstars seem to be in so many scenes that they would basically have to do 5-7 scenes per week (some appear to shoot literally every day, so minus the x-mas/new years break that's gotta be about 350 scenes per year minimum). my question is would having sex still be enjoyable any more when you have sex with a different girl EVERY DAY? i mean maybe for a year or so it would be fun but don't these guys get tired of it after 5+ years and even longer for some male performers? unless there is another incentive besides the actual sex to be so prolific (like the money). that's the only thing i can think of why these guys shoot so fucking frequently. PS - another reason i thought of is clinical sex addiction. so i'm wondering how common that is amongst pornstars (male or female)??  [Link] |

Having more sex, or more varied sex than some idiot with a degree, or some other idiot with a Bible, thinks you should have is defying convention, not being addicted. As to your question of whether or not sex would still be enjoyable if you had it every day, you would have to ask them. Then you'd have to realize that what they find enjoyable might not be what you find enjoyable, so it was a wasted exercise.  [Link] |

There certainly can be such a thing as sexual addiction, but I am positive that most pop-psychologists pushing it are completely full of shit. The monkey experiment demonstrates what it means to be addicted. As I see it, a sex addict will either be conflicted and trying to avoid having sex, or he'll be having sex at every opportunity. Either way, I question his reliability as a performer, and reliability is a porn stud's primary asset. [Link] |

I would be especially curious about John Holmes as he started out performing in 8mm "loops" that you would go to a porn shop, enter a booth and place quarters in a vending machine to view (those loops were made by the thousands in the early 70's).
