That doesn't really work nearly as well as you think. Maybe it's because I'm an autistic profiler of human behavior but I can tell very quickly when someone is actually enjoying themselves in a scene, faking it outright or exaggerating the pleasure for the sake of the camera. You don't earn praise for scenes in which it appears you'd rather be anywhere else. I There's a few underwhelming performers I won't name who do what you are describing and the results are not only anything but pretty, they don't get you recognized or awarded because the performance is that unremarkable. I've seen this is both B/G and G/G scenes, I feel like both types of scenes become exponentially hotter and more erotic when the performers connect. Hitting that sweet spot where they know each other inside and out, they know all the spots to reach and more importantly - they know how to make magic.
The way things are evolving in the industry, give it another 5-10 years, and these forum threads will look massively different. The discussions we have today might be completely different by then.

ROFLMAO, I need a good laugh today because if the only criteria of someone being retired is being inactive on social media for 10 days - that means most of the current pornstars are bouncing between active careers and retirement like a yo yo. There's such a thing as burn out, mental health, not devoting every single waking moment of your day to the industry. There's no shortage of performers who didn't take care of themselves accordingly and ended up in rehab or therapy or dead as a result. I'd much rather a performer have a life beyond porn, work at their own pace etc than run themselves ragged trying to please everyone. G/G scenes are far less taxing on the body than B/G scenes which is one of many reasons performers switch over to G/G along I suspect with a genuine attraction and comfort level. I recall seeing a clip where Alex Coal said she punched a male performer after a scene when he wouldn't stop being too rough toward the end of it. Perhaps if more male talent listened and cared about the pleasure of the female talent, you'd have less female performers with bad experiences.

^You are correct that all those women managed to successfully do it but you skipped over the obvious problem for anyone trying to do it today. The state of the industry no longer allows anyone from being successful with only doing g/g porn.
