We, as a people, long for order but how can there be order when, "from wich movie is this scene?". The real world has no order. Human beings are therefore subjects in an indifferent, ambiguous and absurd universe (wich scene), in which meaning (is this scene) is not provided by the natural order, but rather can be created (however provisionally and unstably) by human actions and interpretations. Martin Heidegger in his influential 1927 work "Being and Time" asked the question, "Von welchem Film ist diese Szene?" He had no real answers. In "The Myth of Sisyphus" (1942), Albert Camus uses the analogy of the Greek myth of Sisyphus (who is condemned for eternity to roll a rock up a hill, only to have it roll to the bottom again each time) to exemplify the pointlessness of existence, but shows that Sisyphus ultimately finds meaning and purpose in his task, simply by continually applying himself to it. So, when we ask, "From wich movie is this scene?" we have to find our own meaning and purpose in applying ourselves to figuring out this age old question. Or as Nietzsche once said in his private diary, "Wer sich interessiert, was Szene ist es nur schon zu Wichsen!" Thank you, Lordnutzz for posing such an interesting question here in the Porn Pool!
