Sent what seemed like recycled pictures and then muted me it looks like when I called her on it.. was also cussing me out alot when I would call her on stuff or send multiple emails asking about it. Just buyer be cautious is all I'm saying I'm washing my hands of it and am done ever buying from models directly they usually scam you. |

Then you just need someone with money and lots of loneliness, and the internet must be chock full of people like that. If I were going to send money to a 'girl', I'd sure as heck ask them to videochat with me before, or at least take a photo holding a handwritten sign saying 'Hey (your name) this is really me!'. What I really wonder is, how do the scammers get the money? Paypal can be reversed and I understand they'll side with you a lot, plus isn't it tied to your real name? If you get scammed why not go after the scammer? It's not like they can vanish into the ether, if they delete the email or phone number they used to contact their mark there's still the money trail. Now, I guess bitcoin is a tiny bit anonymous, so scammers could use that. I guess if any 'girl' asks you to send her some bitcoin it's a very red flag. Just to finish my rant, I'm sure the real Charlotte is well and recovered well from her accident and possibly moved on. Dollars to donuts this was someone else catfishing. |
