for your camcorder video's setting, did you choose any of these ones for your setting: shade , "tungsten", fluorescent, fluorescent h, or something else that is not "AWB OR DAYLIGHT". if not one of these, can you please tell me which one you chose for your setting? no doubt you are an expert in photography so those pics look realistic. thanks
Every location has a different setting. I shoot on K, ie. set my own temperature, everything including exposure is manual. Not only that, even on one location there can be dozens of settings depending on angle, reflections, surfaces and the direction of the sun. There is no such thing as a fixed setting.
Hi Rob, Did Kami do a scene for FTVx? If not, is there anyway you can get her back for one? Also, how many FTV exclusive models did you shoot for FTVx? IMHO, those exclusive ares the ones that will put FTVx on very top of the Porn World... Thanks again for what you do and can't wait for FTVx.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the only thing people give a shit about anymore is FTVx.
I thinks its a combo of the gorgeous FTV girls, the fact that they were either new to porn or FTV exclusive, the high quality photography, and the unique package of multiple uncut camera views, highlight video and stills that Rob said he was planning to use. Plus, its been a while since he floated the idea (11 months), so anticipation has been building.

Rob, totally understand you work mega hard, but serious question now as it's obvious you need help, so why not hire some staff to help you edit?? With your budget, I presume you could hire 2 very skilled editors to edit your footage, meaning you could have more personal fun and relax a little, while knowing your content is being edited to a high standard, and lets be honest, the stuff isn't hugely difficult? You said you used movie maker? So even 2 basic editors could still do the job to your standards, plus you'd be the one still filming, so you know the footage is always going to be good? Would this not make more sense, since it would hardly dent your bank balance, and would give you some more well needed Rob time, and allow you to live your life?. Just saying, as it doesn't sound healthy what you're doing? You work like 18 hours a day, no rest whatsoever, it cannot be good for your health?. So would really love to know why you don't employ some staff to take some of this huge workload off you?. I get that FTV is your baby and you may feel you need to do it all, but what's the point if you can't enjoy it due to becoming unwell? People will be stressing you out with all this moaning they do surely?.
Believe me, I've had plenty try to edit for me. Some who trained for months. But even the most mediocre things, like screenshots for videos, get done carelessly, let alone those coverpages that I'm very meticulous about. Those of you who are members, do you see those long write-ups I put up on 'videographers' notes? Who is going to write that? In the end, I need this content edited within a day or two, and anyone editing for me has to take 3-10 times as long, and I don't want a backlog or have to harass an employee to hurry up. I can go on and on, but even down to how I've shot the content, I know where to edit it, organize it, put into sets etc... If I have to give instructions for every minutae of what I could just do on my own. There's been a few shoots where someone else had edited it, and I've paid the price in complaints on videos being off, or something is missing etc... The person above asking about the tour video -- that is done at the very end of the edit -- even that thing takes at least an hour to do. I carefully select the clips that flow best, and each time I've hired someone else to do the tour video, they botch it. Anyway, they didn't shoot the content, so they don't have a 'feel' for the flow. I can go on and on, but only when people see the process from beginning to end, they understand. Every part of FTV is handcrafted with care. Even these damned magazine style coverpages with all that writing, and representation of the photo/video sets is a pain. In hindsight, I could have made my life easier if it was just some cheesy image with a word like 'beauty' on it, and the rest just 'click here' to download video/photo. But the screenshots, model write-ups, videographer write-ups, splash pages, adventure shoots that have 18 different things in one update -- its a lot of work. Same goes for 'why don't you let someone else shoot for you' -- its had disastrous results, and only Eric in LA has gotten close, but needs two days to do what I do in one, and the public side he's very timid about, as well as lighting issues = double pay for model = + photographer pay = 2-3x the expense for a shoot = members still complain about 'contributor shoots' ok, end rant, back to Kara's edit. First, I'm fine with a bit of delay for you to do it your way. I am one of the people who notices a dip with others shooting. With that said I am getting antsy for FTVx. Maybe because you are a bit behind you are reluctant to give another ballpark ETA, but if you are willing that info would be nice. Appreciate the effort on your end.
While he may have shot the scene 10 years ago it was only a year ago that he decided to actually start to edit them for a site. Much as I want ftvx to launch, I'd still rather he take the time to meet his goals (a lot of models at launch, multiple camera views of the entire scene, edited highlight video, and high quality stills).
