Naysayers about FTVX keep on coming, what can I tell you -- I'm a one man operation, these big companies have hordes of people working for them. We've heard all this before about how hard you're working Rob, and it's appreciated. But the constant delays in the launch of FTVX, while understandable, are frustrating to say the least. I certainly understand the massive effort. It isn't unappreciated at all. I still hope we see som version of the site in the next month or so. Maybe it doesn't have to be as specific and perfect on launch as you think.....? Although that doesn't seem to be your style and can understand why you would hesitate to do anything less than what you have in your head. Well keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing it.
Do you keep your promise to release in early September no matter how many scenes you have finished? People don't even expect to have 80 scenes on a new site. You did your best to edit as many scenes as possible. Now just launch the website with the stuff you have ready!
First, thank you for all the hard and time-consuming work that you put into this, Rob. After following this thread for a while, I only wish people would be a bit more patient about something as huge and unique as FTVX. Considering the great job you have been doing with FTV for decades, everyone should have figured in the meanwhile you are really doing your best all the best - and if it will eventually take a little longer to bring FTVX online, then it's unfortunate, but that is how things are. If Rob wants to be a perfectionist/control freak about FTVX, it's his business. The previews and teasers are nice, and he certainly doesn't owe us anything like that. However, he might as well have just said all along that it will be ready when it's ready--jerking people around with unmet self-imposed deadlines just makes people lose confidence in it ever happening. Maybe updates like "X amount of scenes left to edit before release" would be a better way of updating progress without causing all of the bitching and moaning about release dates coming and going.

I am waiting to have the opportunity to join FTVX and I still think it will be this month. But I have never been a member of FTV, so there are a lot of girls on the FTVX preview page that I do not recognize, and when I got into it, more than I realized. So i created a list of those I do not recognize, those I do, and a couple in between. I may have some errors on my recognized list, feel free to correct and shame me. As far as this list of those I recognize, most will seem obvious to many of you, but while I was going through the preview page it was just as easy to include them, and maybe it will help some members. Some of these are probably FTVX only, so that would explain why I do not recognize those. I have tried not to duplicate, but sorry if I have typos or duplicates. Believe me or not, I just realized that December ticker on FTVX just now, reading the forum (the programmers put it up). Yeah, its actually not to do with my content editing, but the sheer amount of database/programming/building the actual site itself needs. The programmers who helped modernize FTVGirls are starting to work on it since the beginning of summer, and it simply was no way they could put it all together in the next30 days. A couple of new features are also being built from the ground up. With all the people hating, however, I don't get it; would you rather pay $30 and get 80-100 updates, or a third of that? Wouldn't it be a lot more disappointing if you entered a members area with insufficient content? I know there are sites that open up with a dozen updates and that's supposed to be good, but I want to keep the $30 price point and not cheapen my site. With the quintillion amounts of porn being generated day by day, I'm sure a wait is ok? Started an adventure shoot with a really cute first timer (and FTV Exclusive today) at 7am, finished at 7pm. Now editing. 20 hours of editing to build it to a finished product. I'll post pics when I get to it. So I agree with this in spirit. He does work very hard clearly and is already maintaining a first rate site that keeps putting out content. No argument and no one should act like the sky is falling. The problem occurs when he releases launch dates and while it's not like breaking a contract or anything severe it isn't a great look to announce fairly specific dates only to push. Again, it should be very tempered negativity, but people are not exactly crazy to be a bit peeved. All will be fine, but people should be allowed a 'hey what the heck' type comment. His explanation is fine and I will happily await the launch. Obviously that should have been factored in before talking about the dates of planned launch, but not everything works perfectly. To Rob: Don't let any negative comments get under your skin or make it seem like people don't appreciate the product. I think 90+% of the people here are fairly rational and understand you work hard and are just wanting to see the product.
