I don't think Lia is the problem here. The girls she's shooting are semi established in porn by the time she gets to shoot them and I don't think Lia is able to control a set. It seems more like these pro models are taking over the set and directing, not taking direction or being casual. Most of the "FTV charm" comes from the girls doing their first, maybe second ever shoot and they weren't on set, they were doing fun casual sexy stuff.
I firmly think because of the rise of the cam girl economy, it's going to get exponentially more difficult to get more girls like Guilia or some of the other favorites. Lia could take over the company eventually when Rob chooses to retire or gets burned out, but if she's getting models like these, she'll need more directorial skill.
This thread is making it sound like I'm not shooting anymore. Pretty much every second shoot is my own. Only hear complaints. Not even one positive comment about say, Giulia for example.
Again, I'm still participating trying to find the cutest, newest girls, and shooting them. Just not participating here on ADT.
But why would a girl bother shooting for a website to make $1000 when they can make $10k at home doing onlyfans. Only incentive would be to get more traffic to their onlyfans.
Well Lia is the one booking these girls according to Rob... A simple conversation of "this is what we're paying you for, it's not that kind of site, this is how the website is different" could be had. Have the conversation prior to booking and if the girl doesn't think she can do it, don't book her. Maybe she's too nice to disagree with what the models are doing, or have a tough conversation with pornstars get into pornstar mode. That being said, the girls aren't the only problem, its also the style. Wide shots, too much lube, bad fluorescent lighting, lack of closeups, no emphasis on orgasmic contractions, bad viewing angles, trying to do too much (like Tristan standing with one leg on a stool with the vibraking). Stick to simple FTV style: Closeup, casual, natural wetness (not globs of lube), orgasmic contractions. I don't blame a pornstar for acting like a pornstar. They've been told in every shoot to act as such. I blame the one behind the camera that doesn't interfere, stop the shoot, and have a conversation if that starts. Rob shot Capri Anderson after all, at least a year or 2 into her porn career, and guess what: it's a great update!! Look no DOUBT rise of camming has impacted this. However even though i dont like that it's lost its focus on "first time videos", i would be ok booking a pornstar if they didn't do fake moaning garbage and had genuine orgasms. At least then it would be different than what you see all over the internet at other porn sites. Most of the time they are beautiful at least.
We know you're still shooting Rob, but 3 out 4 updates aren't shot by you. And maybe we're spoiled by the past. I can't possibly think that you can look at the last update and say that it fits for FTV. Your last update WAS great, and it made the latest one all the more jarring coming on the heels of that.
So I just want to say that I'm really liking Penelope. I'd love to see another update from her, and if she's up for it, she seems like there's some extreme potential there. If she's not into it, that's cool, but if she is, that's also cool.
Hello Rob, I have been a member of FTVGirls so many times in the last 20 years. You brought so much quality in this site that I can only be grateful. I really loved your attitude and your taste. The only things that I really miss in the last months are real orgams with contractions (all shots seem to be oriented to penetration now) and the glorious Vibraking. Upcoming covers would be much appreciated, especially if the models are as attractive as they have been these past few months.

You can easily just skip around the parts you're not interested in, and having more of one type of content does not automatically mean there is less of whatever interests you more. What I would say instead is that for a large group of people, those types of scenes are the single thing actually bringing them to the site and making them want to sign up.
