I would humbly disagree. OF launched in 2016. Most of the girls who wanted to go into mainstream porn carved out a niche for themselves making their own content online. As their fanbase grew and they got more $, they upped their quality and stayed at home and launched their own version. The "fresh" girls don't need talent agencies anymore to send their stuff to, and then get sent to Backroom Casting Couch or FTV to shoot content. The old ways of doing things are gone and the adult industry has evolved. It's also helped the consumer in some ways, too.
You got the guys on here always talking about extreme, or anal, or this or that. OF and other set-it-up yourself paysites helps you find all that content with the girl of your "type." The digital age is now fully upon the adult entertainment scene and very few studios have caught up. Small operations like FTV continue to get by because of their niche - even if the new model is few and far between. Piracy did cause a lot of pain. If you have a big operation, you can dedicate an office of 1-2 people to issue DMC stuff and get it taken down from torrent sites and other file swap places. Piracy, though, is a hydra - you cut off one head and two more pop up.
It's been interesting to watch FTV as Lia has taken over the reins. I still would like to see them do a travel shoot in the Midwest and other parts of the country just to see if they can get different types of models. I keep my eyes on the new models/content but I've not subscribed in quite some time.

Her earliest scenes l can find are her GirlsDoPorn scene and 2 on NetVideoGirls, all released in September 2012 and her FTV was released a few months later. Not that it really matters, FTV has really dropped the ball when it comes to girls actually doing their first porn scene.
^ studrams In reality - in the heyday of FTV he DID shoot the scenes before their scenes for other sites were shot. Because of his lead time for publishing the shoots they sometimes (often?) came out on FTV AFTER those for larger studios because they got the scene from filming to on the site faster. Very often he was shooting the FTV scenes and the next week the model was shooting for a larger studio. FTV was ONE person - he did the video, photography, editing and web. Not easy for him to get a shoot from filming to posted in a short time.

I know, it wasn't that scene l was specifically referring to. Considering what's involved in producing a saleable video, what he achieved as a one man operation is pretty impressive by any standards though l understand he's sold it or at least the rights to it. It's really only since then the site's been portraying girls as FTV when some basic research shows they're either recycled or they've been in the business for quite some time.
