They dont seem to have a good dedicated cameraman anymore for a lot of the new shoots , and it seems like alot of the shoots are filmed by the girls partner or friend. F.E the Ophelia shoot from March 2025 seems to be filmed by her real life girlfriend , and it looks more like a homemade manyvids movie then the quality im used to for FTV ( back when Rob was still in charge ).
Seems like the person currently in charge with the site , doesnt want to do much work because the editing is also become horrible.
Its what the person above said aswell , its nice to get a subscribtion to download some of the good videos from the catalogue and stop subscribing until the quality goes up. They either get better quality movies and less remasters or they are going to lose subscribers fast at this point. There are way better sites at this point to subscribe to imo.
The FTVGirls era has come to an end. I am going to point out the reasons why and give a brief eulogy.
The very first issue is in selecting models. Maybe girls interested in starting are now going straight online either to OF or to a cam site and are getting involved in that way. It saves a trip (and some explanation to their friends and relatives) as to why they're leaving town for a weekend. But the models they get (especially since they are continuing to post remastered sets from previous years) are obviously not the same caliber as those earlier ones. Or, could it be that Rob used to pay for the plane tickets to get these girls to AZ and this new group is just grabbing whoever is around the neighborhood because they don't want to spend that cash? Yeah. It's probably that.
Second is in shooting the models. I used to sometimes rag on Lia for talking through a scene or just inserting herself when she didn't need to, but she usually only did it occasionally. Now, the girl shooting vids (I think she's a former FTV model herself?) is constantly involved, either giggling behind the camera, saying something ridiculous, getting herself into the shot or handing props like vibrators or dildos to the model. It's all very distracting and none of that helps make it a better scene. Also, the shoots are now terrible because it feels like the girl operating the camera is a little shy to stay and hold on the model's privates. She constantly zooms in and then walks back out, it's really dizzying and not at all sexy. Is there no more tripod that could be placed so the model could just do her thing without the person behind the camera getting involved? Also the photo sets, which used to always be between 80 and 120 pictures are now often fewer than 40 per set. Is that because those were the only ones that could be used?
Then there's the equipment. A big reason why all of this looks so bad is that it's being shot on an iPhone, instead of a proper video camera or digital still cam. That really shows, especially since the girl operating the cam doesn't know how to stand still and get a proper photo. A whole lot of shots are blurry because she's moving as she takes them and it looks horrible. Its especially obvious compared to those older sets that they keep posting as if they are new. The quality between the sets from the past compared to these new sets is unmistakable. In fact, I'd advise them to stop creating those remastered sets because it only hurts their new product by comparison.
And then there's the little things... the models used to write essays about themselves, their homes, their hobbies, shared some of their personalities. It made it a lot more human. And the photographer would talk about the process of how the shoot went, some BTS commentary and other stuff. That's basically all gone now. Also, it seems like they're doing some "role playing" scenes with the model talking to the camera, which was never something that FTV did before, and it comes off looking really odd.
So, farewelll, FTVGirls. It was fun while it lasted. And we'll remember all of the good years, especially since you keep recycling them to try to keep people coming back.
For me it is the loss of focus on "real girls, real orgasms", as you said there is less focus on who the model is as a person, and more about acting and playing a role. if we want to see acting, fake orgasms, and the step-bro/step-sis nonsense, there are hundreds of other sites out there. FTV Girls was different because Rob made the girls feel comfortable enough to be themselves, masturbating like they do at home or trying new things without pressure.
Absolutely. Rob had a mission and that was exactly it... nothing phony, no excessive moaning or "acting" for the camera. Just let these girls do what they do to get off, however that is, with as little or as much noise as they would do in their real lives. That is what made the site both different from everybody else and made it worth checking in with, regularly.
And Rob was willing to pay to have these girls come to Scottsdale and shoot, and that is a big problem now. The site, seems to be relying on the girls paying their way, possibly shooting on location so they don't have to travel (which also lowers the quality control, since someone else is shooting), and/or just finding girls at the local colleges willing to do it.
But this photographer, what's her name? She is truly messing it all up. What little sexy qualities there are in a set now are ruined by all the stuff she is doing behind the camera.
I would honestly ask, why you think that. The concept, the driving force of the FTVGirls site was a sound idea. It was different from other sites, it featured fresh, new girls regularly, it had good photo and good video and the quality remained high long after Rob exited. It's been, what? 13 or 14 years if I'm not mistaken... but Rob was still sort of in the loop even after that, which I think is what helped keep the standards high. I'm not sure when he completely left but if you scroll through this thread, he was still posting pics of upcoming sets, so he was probably still shooting some of those well after he "departed."
Now, it seems like the people running the site are just cashing in on the reputation rather than upholding the purpose of what the site was supposed to be. It's super easy to just reissue previous sets (I still wonder if those girls are aware that those sets they shot, years before, are being released as if they are new, and how that might impact them if they have moved into some other career. Because, think about it, if you have a new life, maybe a new husband, working in a new field and then some shoot you did seven years ago turns up as if you shot it this week, that could have an impact on your life. Also, are these girls getting some sort of payday for this or is this, you signed the rights to your images away in perpetuity kind of thing?)
FTVGirls could still be the same site it always was without Rob, but you need someone who understands the purpose and who is capable of doing it. Rob was a work horse because he did it all. He scouted locations, took care of the lodging for those girls, shot the photos and video, helped them feel comfortable enough to do what the site needed, then had to edit the vids, write up a report about it, and post them in a timely manner. It's tough to find someone so committed to the concept as that, but as long as people stayed on task, you still could continue to do the same thing.
FTV could limp along for years the way it's being handled now, but it already isn't the same as it was even two years ago.

^ There's no unexpected payday for the girls if anything is rereleased, any videos or images of them would still be available on the site anyway. There were occasional shoots done by other people but it's within the last four or five years that Rob actually sold FTV Girls.
It's one thing to have pics taken before still up on the site. They're buried under years of other material. But to have that shoot resurrected and placed front and center on the main page of the website, which is what they do with these "new" sets, promoted it like it just happened? That might cause problems.
I wondered if these girls were at least made aware that their old material was being released again and how that might impact their lives, especially if they are out of the business now. It's less to do with the money and more about affecting their lives, today.

You could pretty much guarantee that there will be girls who've had something from their past rear its ugly head and if nothing else, it will definitely highlight exactly what ''forever'' actually means.
You have shown why that article could not possibly answer anything I asked about, as it was written 12 years ago (and I had already read it anyhow).
Everything is different and horrible during this current phase of FTVGirls and that article was an interview of how Rob was doing everything when he was in control and the site was working well.
Also, Rob never mentioned anything about "recycling material" as if it were new in that piece, which was the only question I had about what this new group is doing and whether they would at least extnd the courtesy of letting a model know that they are going to be seen as a "new" performer when they might have shot something 5 or 7 or 10 years before.
Like I said, it's one thing to have a photo/video shoot up on a site, dated from when it was originally posted. But claiming a set is "new" is a totally different thing and could have some impact on the lives of these women.
And, sure, the people running the site have proprietary ownership of all that material and can use it however they want, but there is some decorum, some thoughtfulness, some understanding that this might not be beneficial for someone who used to model and doesn't anymore, and is there any thinking about that element when posting these old pics and making them seem like they just got shot?
Anyway, I don't want to keep talking about that (and I'm sure you don't, either), so please consider that part of the discussion a rhetorical question, unless you actually have an answer from the people running the show, currently.
But there are a whole lot of other problems, and the girl photographer/videographer has done it again with the latest set. She's laughing in scenes, getting herself on cam, and still not properly shooting the model, all points I made about why the site is, essentially, dead.

If nothing else, the people running the site now should be the ones to read that article! Rob gives them a road map as to what the site is about, what users wanted from it, the process of doing it right, and the fact that he did it, essentially, alone, is a real embarrassent for the people there, now, because I know there's more than one person covering it all.
I hope that whomever is handling FTV at this point finds that article quick and starts doing the stuff as Rob laid out. Maybe drop THEM an email with the link! 🤣
For all the complaining we do about the site lately,.... we have to give credit to the latest update....it looks actually pretty nice and interestingly , it is in mexico.
As I pointed out above, the biggest single problem with the site currently is the girl photographer (does anyone actually know who she is?) who has been taking these photos and videos with her iPhone and behaving completely unprofessionally during every shoot. So any set where she is not involved is going to seem a lot better, by comparison. And, obviously, there is a totally different photographer shooting this set in Mexico which explains why this set looks more like the FTV of old.
I suppose if they get outside photographers to create these sets, and they know what to do, that would be better. But, as far as I know, girl photographer is still doing these local sets and that means that most of the material is still going to be bad or worse. One set by one photographer will not revive this site from its death.
Madi is a smoking hot blonde that everyone will appreciate. Yes the photography leaves something to be desired but let's focus on Madi. She is awesome with the outdoor nudity and is playing with all her holes and is all natural. She is only on onlyfans I think so this might be the best we get.
