MOD: No tube sites. Putting a note not to remove the tube site, for any reason, just shows you read and still decided to violate the rules. Edited by - flash on Feb 14 2014
This use to be one of my favorite series till late last year when they started using condoms for new episodes. I guess it's time to move on to something else. Too bad - this series had so much potential.
Same here. Used to love it. You always got to see the chicks with the oil on them. Just watched a few of the recent scenes. Could not get past the condom thing though. What a disappointment!
It is really too bad that a condom is something that's bothering you guys because I think you'll find the next few years to be a serious drag when it's more common to see them than not. I won't debate the merits of condoms because you guys don't care but companies being investigated by OSHA do and they will soon have no choice but to make their performers wear them of suffer the consequences.
Can't stand the condoms. If California law states condoms must be worn then it's good bye California as far as producing porn is concerned. Hello Europe and other states of America that don't require them. Porn Studios are already bitching and moaning about losing revenue due to piracy. That's fair enough. I can't wait to see them bitch and moan about the lost revenue due to enforced condom usage. The Porn Industry has serious money and the money for lobbyists. I don't feel sorry for them if they aren't able to lobby politicians effectively.
using condoms is the only viable option in California now, as for other states they don't have (except New Jersey I think) the same regulation regarding allowing the porn industry to shoot like in California. in Europe Nach and Marc Dorcel shoot with condoms, others may join them. I don't get how a piece of fabric can make people go mad like that. for me its a non issue, and all this whining is hilarious really.
^ People who have watched enough have fine tuned needs of what they want from a scene. It's not hilarious. Why do you think production companies take so much pain to go outside the jurisdiction to film without "just a piece of cloth".
I know that companies understand they are dealing with individuals with a child-like mind frame, that will throw tantrums when things don't go their way. I too am accustomed to non-condom porn, but I want to see the girls (they are the main attraction) performing. so I'm going to stop seeing a Krissy Lynn or Romi Rain just because its a condom scene, come on be reasonable. to me its a tiny detail, although I see that some people have a life and death problem with them.
If anyone thinks this is a California only problem then you are missing the bigger issue. I don't know how many of you guys know this but it is only legal to shoot porn in California and New Hampshire and last time I checked there isn't much porn coming out of NH. I believe the two biggest porn producing States are California and Florida and CA being significantly ahead of FL for the obvious reason that it's legal to shot porn there. Producers, performers and every other person involved in the industry mostly all live in California so shooting out of State requires a monetary expenditure that most (if not all) can't afford so I don't see that many people shooting outside of CA to circumvent the condom law.

I can't think of a better way to end the large scale production of pornography than making condom usage mandatory. It's the nuclear option. Paying for porn has already become exceptional among American porn viewers. I for one will stop paying for porn if condoms take over and it's clear from internet feedback on condom scenes that I am far from the only one. For the record, some of those commenting seem to be confusing Los Angeles County with the state of California. Here in San Francisco porn production has not been affected by Measure B.
I assume you meant to say optional instead of exceptional since so many people are going the tube and torrent route these days. I hope that when you say that you will stop paying for it. You mean you won't be watching any new scenes and not instead watching them for free(not really free) on tube and torrent sites. Just for your info. The condom ruling is for all of California and that includes San Francisco. Don't believe me then ask Kink. They are up shit creek with OSHA at the moment and if they don't get their business in order then thy will not be enjoying the next few months/years.

First off, on Kink: Porn company fined for allowing performers to work without condoms AB No. 332 would have mandated condoms state wide but it died in committee.I don't like many (not all) condoms scenes because I know how uncomfortable it can get and it completely takes me out of the scene.Exceptional - not usual: unusual or uncommon. Call it what you want, and if some of you like seeing latex-clad dicks, then good for you. But for many, if not most, of us, condoms are a total nonstarter. I currently buy a healthy amount of porn. I will not pay for any scene or any movie with any performer that uses a condom. Period, and no exceptions. So either shoot outside LA County or watch your revenues drop through the floor. Choice is yours. There are a lot of choices out there for us consumers that feature a lot of hot girls. There is simply no way I will spend any of my hard earned money on condom porn. That law was, and is, a disaster for the LA porn industry. And simply saying that more and more studios are doing it is stupid. Porn is not an industry with a limited supply, high entry barriers, or only a few producers. As I said, there is a ton of product out there for sale. Unless someone can magically get every single porn producer wherever they film to suddenly wrap up, my money will go to the producers who film in places that do not require that a condom be used and who choose to film normal, non-condom sex in those places. Getting everyone to use and getting everyone to like condoms is an utterly losing battle. The sooner the LA porn industry recognizes this and gets the fuck out of LA County so they can make normal porn again, the better off they will be. If this means I don't buy something featuring a girl I like and would otherwise buy if it was natural sex, well, so be it. I'll live. After all, there is another good looking, nasty 19 year old just waiting to shoot a scene without a condom who will get my money. It's the nature of the business.
^I don't "like" seeing any dicks, condom or not. Maybe you should stop focusing on them so much instead of the body of the girl, unless you swing that way.
hahaha ^ o snap! that's funny as hell. I certainly prefer no condoms being used as it just looks more natural and for the fantasizing factor like imagining its you fuckin the girl, obviously no condom is at least a million times better than sex with one. I still watch new fuckedhard videos as the girls are just flat out BANGIN, but find that I don't enjoy them as much since they started wrapping up. And to those who think it doesn't matter- There is a reason all these porn sites using them now use pink condoms- its because they don't stand out as much as they know many are turned off by it.
It's not really a case of seeing dicks or not. Porn is fantasy. I don't think many men (I don't know about women) fantasize about wearing a condom during sex. Part of fantasy is imagining the feeling of what your dick would feel like inside the pussy/ass/mouth. Do you fantasize about a sweet, tight, hot and wet pussy whilst wearing a condom? I think that's what it's all about. When I watch a porn scene it's about imaging how it would feel being the male and screwing the woman. Condoms just don't figure into any part of that fantasy. It ruins the fantasy in many ways. Assuming there was a 0% risk of STDs and/or pregnancy what man would ever choose to wear a condom? I've never heard anyone say wearing a condom feels better than no condom.
Yeah no, I don't watch porn to fantasize about being in the place of the guy. I just enjoy watching the women and what they're doing or what is being done to them. For myself, I always use condoms so even if I were to fantasize that way it still wouldn''t bother me. I would rather watch a scene without it like anybody, but it's not that big of a deal to me and the severity of the complaints seem pathetic to me.
Well as many have already said the condom porn.........well.........it just plain sucks. I'm not a fan and definitely won't be a consumer of it. While I don't believe OSHA gives a shit about any of these performers I do believe this was the one loop hole the state found to try and slow porn down. Unfortunately it might work at least at first most will prolly continue buying once the initial irritation wears off. So I guess it will be old content or people still making good ole porn la natural getting my money. And to those saying its not a big deal get over it, well it just ain't that simple.
^^ same here, how can you even think (in a non-pov scene) that its you fucking a hot woman. when you come to think about it, the viewer is more in a position of a cuckold or a peeping tom . furthermore if you would ever to be in a position to fuck a Kagney or an Asa they would make sure for you to wrap it up.
The guy at Fucked Hard 18 might also be using condoms as a cost saving measure. I'm not sure of the cost of a HIV/STD test in Los Angeles. Perhaps around $400 - $800 per test? And this is at a frequency of 1 test every 2 weeks I believe. With Porn Producers moaning over not making much money these days I think the cost of these tests would really hurt. Why did Ed Powers starts to use condoms religiously all of a sudden a few years ago? Why does Porno Dan use them for his Immoral Live releases? Maybe it's got nothing to do with Occupational Health and Safety laws either county laws or California State Laws. It could be purely a matter of test costs. a) As an aside... who pays for the performers HIV/STD testing in porn? The employer (studio) or does the performer pay for their own tests? Like a freelance performer I guess. b) If a performer wears a condom are HIV/STD tests still mandatory? (mandated by law). Mandatory for either the male performer and/or female performer. c) out of curiosity what (if any tests) are required for lesbian only porn scenes? Please specify if you can. If cunnilingus, anilingus, vaginal/anal object insertion, vaginal/anal fingers/fisting/toes/foot insertion. d) are tests required for either performer (i.e. giver or receiver) in a blowjob only scene? How about a cunnilingus scene? anilingus scene? Fingering? Fistng? Toes/foot?
^Man you have to do some research before posting some of these things. 1-Take a look at the link for TTS prices. 155$ is significantly less than 400$ and I'm not even sure where you came up with 800$. http://www.talenttestingservice.com/tests.asp 2-Ed was using condoms from day one. The only difference is that he didn't always use one but I suspect that the reasons why he would or would not use one are quite varied. 3-Performers currently pay for their test but some were trying to get studios to pay for it but that is unrealistic to expect studios to pay for every non-contract performers test because these people work for multiple companies so there is no way to get a studio to pay for a performers test. Especially when that performer will use that test to work for their competitor. 4-Testing will always be mandatory regardless that a condom is used or not because a test is only good to identify if a performer is infected while a condom is there to prevent a performer from infecting someone else. 5-It doesn't matter what type of scene a performer does in the industry because they all have to have the same test.

The OSHA blood born pathogens act of 1992 is a national law and mandates condom usage Now that is being enforced you will see a lot more condom scenes.
I am not watching "Wicked Pictures" since 1998. I was very glad to buy their videos with Missy and Jenna Jameson. But... then they went condom-only... I remember my last video - "Conquest"! Jenna Jameson, Juli Ashton, Missy, Asia Karrera... VHS system... real unprotected sex ... old good time. OK. It is not about FuckedHard18. Sorry... but I am weeping, Flash!
The thing is, and why I pointed to them, they are still releasing epic size movies with good budgets. The switch to condom only hasn't destroyed their customer base. They are still dropping more money into titles, from what I can see, than many other studios out there. The cries of all the customers will go, this will end the adult film industry, etc being uttered in this thread is clearly false. I would also be curious how many people here would be excited and happy about their jobs if they were told protective equipment couldn't be used because, well, people like seeing you not wear it. For example, how many construction workers would be happy to discard hard hats because customers like seeing you without them?
^As much as I completely agree with everything you said. I don't think that there is a single argument that could be put forward that would make the bareback group change their minds. At least on forums. I know that everybody will say that they will never watch condom porn but I don't believe them. Most porn fans will still be watching their favorite performer have condom sex if se happens to do what they have been waiting for. What I fear may happen is that they will look a place where they can see it for free.
I do not think that it is so interesting to watch the work of construction workers. Unprotected sex, multiple partners, extreme acts, semen inside the pussy and ass are the nature of porn. We are watching professional boxing, gymnastics (olympic sport) and many other risky actions. I cannot imagine Nastia Lukin (famous gymnast, olympic champion) on uneven bars with helmet. This is just like Anikka Albrite has sex with condom. No thrill - no pleasure! I cannot deceive my feelings. It is impossible.
It doesn't matter if you want to watch construction workers the example still holds. Oh, and both your examples don't work, boxers use boxing gloves to offer protection and gymnasts use mats.
so maybe make shorter scenes, why does the time have to constantly go up? only long scenes that are for me necessary from a formal point of view are Manuels "RAW's", everybody else can cut that shit, so that the performers receive less thrusts.
I'm with you on this one. The saddest thing is that Wicked, IMO, has some of the best production values of any porn studio. I've always been very impressed with them. Also with their partner company (or former partner-not sure) Marc Dorcel. If you look at the Rocki Whore Picture Show you'll see an example of their production quality. But the fly-in-the-ointment is the condom usage. No matter how good their quality is I would rather not buy it. Remember Vivid Video went condom only for a while? I think about 5 years or more. Maybe closer to 10 years. But then they did an about face. What a relief. As soon as that happened I started buying their DVDs again. I have maybe about 2,000 DVDs from US and Euro studios. Probably from over 100 different studios. I'm proud to say that almost none of them have condom scenes in them. Edited by - billybob on 3/21/2014 3:58:50 PM
From a woman's point of view - and coming from one who is from a country with a very high rate of HIV-positive people (South Africa) - condoms don't bother me at all in porn. It's been a necessary evil in my life for a long time. One of my favourite female porn stars is Stormy Daniels so of course since she is with Wicked most all of her videos are condom-only. I don't really notice it to be honest. I am more focused on her and whoever is fucking her than what's wrapped around his dick. Edited by - Vanity on 3/21/2014 9:56:08 PM
I will never watch a porn scene in which the guys wear condoms. I have downloaded approximately 7000 porn scenes and all those scenes are condom free. Porn is about fantasy and in my fantasy condoms don't exist. The porn industry is a no-condom zone in my opinion.
Some of my favorite porn is from Pierre Woodman - both the castings and Wakeupnfuck. They nearly all feature condoms, and it doesn't bother me at all. If you can't watch a video because of condoms then seriously, grow up.
FuckedHard18 is using condoms now Flash wrote: "I think it's interesting how many people have no regard for the performers they like to watch." I would never have guessed the negative verbal reaction to the use of condoms. On the other hand, I doubt that this talk is anything more than talk. The industry has faced much greater threats to its existence (Manwin/MindGeek for instance). If true, Nina Hartley makes a very good point: latex friction may cause more damage to the female actors than not using condoms. (Lambskin condoms could eliminate this problem, but lambskin does not protect against STI's.) While I didn't read all of the arguments for and against this law, I believe the main idea was to protect the performers. But there were minor voices suggesting that if performer condom use were mandatory, viewers might be more inclined to feel good about using condoms in their personal life. I find this a bogus argument; people make the choice to use or not use condoms with much more complex logic, but when are legislators logical? What I would love to see the industry institute is to incorporate condom use into the scenes. It could add a whole new level of intimacy, especially in the gonzo realm.
Cutting Edge Testing and Talent Testing Service charge about $200 for a LA test and $250 for a test outside of LA. That test covers every VD except herpes and is required every 14 days for active performers.
If you can't jerk off because some dude is wearing a condom, maybe it's time you take a hard look at yourself. You're obviously focusing on the wrong parts in straight porn. No offense... I just don't get it. I would hope that directors and performers care more about their talent's or their own health and safety more so than the opinion of some dude trying to jerk off in Bumblefuck, USA. My thoughts on the matter... the performers are consenting adults. If they choose to wear a condom, they wear a condom. If they choose to fuck unprotected, so be it. Sure, having unprotected sex feels better, looks better is better but we're in a whole new era. Your 1960's way of thinking doesn't apply today. Testing is nice and it helps, but it's not perfect. I've known girls with 14 days old tests that jump from bed to bed with anyone who can give them a place to sleep or some drugs. Let's be honest here... your fantasy of these "porn stars" are that they're all good Christian, straight A former honor roll students living a healthy fit life chock full of diet and exercise but you couldn't be further from the truth... majority wise. SPOILER ALERT - Some are diseased dirt bag fuck ups. Not every new girl entering the business has the mentality of a Lisa Ann. You want to see new fresh faces, guess what... they're usually brought in by the dirt bag pimp agents. Those chicks are hooking, doing privates, living the fast party life. You don't think these guys are banging these chicks off camera? Think they're getting tested every 14 days? Seriously people... the business has really pulled the wool over your eyes. Some of you people need to just get with the times. I could rant on this forever but I know it'll all falls of deaf ears. In all honesty, I do respect those of you who care so much in your beliefs that you boycott product. That shows strength and determination. However, I value more the open minded people that understand that condoms add an extra layer of protection to the people risking their lives so we can jerk off. Yes... it really is as simple as that. - Jimmy Hooligan The Official Jimmy Hooligan Website
