This story is front page news of my local newspaper today. It seems to be the latest of the papers mad crusades- every headline these days is about a "shocking sex shop" "perverts" etc. It's funny as in all the people pretending to shocked.

Do you notice how the Philips PR rep says that the DVD player wasn't made in the country ( UK ) , and was already sealed when it arrived at a British factory ? Doesn't quite chime with the R18 label sitting rather prominently on the disc itself , now does it . My guess is that some poor warehouse worker's lost his copy of Lex the Impaler ! I wonder if he forgot which machine he'd left it in , precipitating a frenzied search for his prized possession .

BTW , loving the glum --oh so serious-- look on Mr Peppiat's face . Imagine his poor Nephews being exposed to images of naked bodies , the horror ! I guess if it had been Arnold Shwarzenager (sp) blowing the hell out of someone then it would've been OK . My , how repressed we still are in England .
