For me, the in and out of screen-filling genitals interacting quickly palls, and I reach for the remote. I much prefer shots that show a beautiful woman's face and body. (And, as one final aside, isn't "beautiful woman" nearly redundant?) Umm, I thought I should edit in a final comment: one might well ask why I watch porn if I don't like to watch sex. Well, I do like the sex; I just find a minimally varying scene of undue length to be dull. What I really like, though, is eroticism (with or without explicit sex) and often just sexual tease. The unfortunate thing is that too many porn performers are anabots in real life. A sex scene in a well acted dramatic film often destroys tension built up by the narrative. I think porn directors really need to make up their minds: if a feature is being made, the sex scenes should function as part of the narrative. If the director wants to shoot "porny" sex, then they shouldn't attempt a feature. [Link] |
