Ok i recently bought the Gangbang Angels #1 DVD and found that there was a warning sticker on the front saying that it had been edited by Patrick Collins (I think thats his name) for scenes he found personaly offensive.

Upon viewing the DVD i found that most of the sex scenes had been edited to the point where most the dvd seemed to be a looped Blow Job scene with the audio from the edited intercourse scenes incorperated into it. Im not an idiot and i know theres something fishy with this dvd.

I wonder if i can get a VHS version that isn't edited? Since this cant be the vesrion everyone else seems to have seen because it is said to be Stephanies Hardest Core movie. I didnt see much except a bunch of guys getting blow jobs and a few miniutes of penetration.

Yeah the vhs version is quite good. Stephanie is awesome no doubt about it. I liked the mini scene before the big gang bang because you don't have a whole bunch of guys standing around jerking off and Steph takes three good popshots to end it. I wouldn't mind the spitting and slapping being edited out of a dvd version, I didn't like it in the vhs version and would rather it not be in a dvd version but the nice thing about dvds it is so easy to move on to the next chapter so I would do that. But yes the vhs version is very good even with the spitting and slapping that is included.

i agree i am not a spitting or slapping fan either but i guess you cant edit out that stuff without editing the whole sex scene. The dvd was really chooped i think i'll buy the VHS version.

Thanks

At first I thought you might be wrong but when I put my disc in to view it I found that it has been edited. My copy of the dvd had NO sticker on it saying that it had been edited. I am felling totally ripped off. I bought the dvd after seeing the vhs and had not had a chance to watch the disc right away, but when I did, I found that it had been edited. Whay put out a dvd that has less footage than the dvd version? It makes no sense. Hopefully the store that I bought it at will let me trade it in for something else. The worst thing about it is that when I trade in at my local store I only get credit for half the price of the item. Patrick Collins just cost me half the price of that dvd. It's the last time I will ever purchase any of Elegant Angel's dvd's. Fuck them, they won't be seeing any of my money anymore on principle alone.

You'll find that MANY DVD's are edited and MANY are soon to be discontinued because the adult industry are cowards. And perhaps rightfully so. They fear prossecution for the content on the movies under new President Bush.

What I dont understand is WHY would they continue to sell the VHS version unedited and edit only the DVD's?

I've been very unhappy with many DVD releases myself and GANGBANG ANGELS was one that I wanted to see in full force.

I don't think Patrick Collins was afraid as much as he really didn't like the content of the scene.

Now for those of you who want to exchange the dvd or get a refund you may want to try Elegant Angel themselves. I haven't had any personal contact with them in years but I know when I had a problem with one of their products in 96 I wrote them about it and they contacted the company who sold it to me and had them send me a replacement copy. Now that was a while back so they may not be as customer orinented as they used to be but you may want to give it a try.
