David-J Member 155 Posts 8/02	Posted - Feb 29 2004 : 8:06AM Some of the early ones (roughly up to #15) are quite good, but after that IMO the general quality declined, due largely to poor quality 'studs' (do you really want to see a series that relies on guys like Cuba, Wesley Pipes, and Julian St Jox?) But I haven't seen all of them, and there are some exceptions (e.g. #27). But there is also more competition now in the interracial (BM/WF) gangbang category. WCP's Black Cravings is better value (with 4 scenes per vid) and so is Evasive Angles' 4 x 4. And the new Black Pipe Layers series from Justin Slayer beats the shit out of the competition. [Link]

And I disagree with David-J because I didn't like the early volumes but the newer ones are a lot better, that's because they stopped using Jake Steed, Lexington Steele and Mr.Marcus, IMO they ruined every scene they were in. All series have their winners and their losers. My personal favourite of the ones that I've seen is Gangland 34 (for the Melanie Jagger and Charlette scenes), followed closely by Gangland 6 (for the Jessica Jewel and Harley Rain scenes). But there are lots of others that I've liked, such as No. 19 (Georgette Neale), No. 27 (Jessie J and Layla Jade), No. 33 (Kacey and Gabriella Banks), No. 41 (Cailey Taylor and Jenni Loveitt), and No. 43 (Crystal and Cherry Poppin's). I'm also looking forward to Gangland 48, obviously for Ms. Selena Silver. [Link]

I've always liked this series and hoped to see favorite girls in it but it now may be a wasted because another porn maker gets a new camera and decides he gonna be a "filmmaker", make it look more cinematic, and instead ruins it. The last one I saw before that was 55 and it was good hot stuff with great foreign ladies. I wanted to see 57 for Vixen and it was in widescreen, looked flat and far away, and had no heat at all even though she did a good dp. I hope they go back to how they did it before or the series is now a waste and will fall apart. The new look is lousy. [Link]

I own approx 20 of these movies and my fav is with Ava Devine and Kami Andrews. What I find is they generally lack heat and are poorly filmed with bad shots/editing. Another thing I notice is that of the 3 scenes in each movie only 1 is worth watching - the rest are slow and lack energy. One of my favorite inter racial scenes is from Black Cravings and it involves Daniella Rush(what a great body and watching her blow mandigo is hot). [Link]

I'm pretty sure that the euro Ganglands and the other Devil's Films lines featuring european babes were shot by a different team than the one responsible for #57. Gangland #56 was shot in HD widescreen and was very well done. I always thought the Gangland series was mediocre at best in terms of lighting, camera angles, male performers (excepting the very early entries featuring the likes of Lex Steele and Mandingo), editing, etc. up until #51 when it started to become a euro production. The episodes since that time have been extremely well-shot and edited. I say keep the euro babes and the euro production team. Any company that can deliver great-looking interracial mini-gangbang scenes starring the likes of Lucy Lee, Claudia Rossi, Belicia, Lilliane Tiger, Sheridan, Jennifer Stone, and Simone Style (twice!) doesn't need to change course. Of course, I'm cuckoo for the Czechs, Slovaks and Hungarians, but what are you gonna do... [Link]
