JoeBlow69’s recent comment about Jeff Stryker’s web site (entryways for gays and straights (or bi folks?)) got me to do some poking around for other gay porn stars’ web sites and what stuff is on them. What follows below is a brief list of some sites with some idea of content; in no way is all or even mostly inclusive. If this is old hat for you, sorry. Just trying to share. I’ve limited the list to sites that have significant free content. Obviously, lots of porn stars have sites with membership and other pay arrangements (such as Ken Ryker, Chance Caldwell, Chris Steele) and because I do not want to appear to be a shill (and also because I don’t want to spend the money to find out what’s on them), I do not list them. Also, just the site name for some of these pay sites is enough to make me avoid it (e.g., Billy Herrington’s site, www.theperfectman.com ). Some sites merely bounce you to stores where you can buy their vids (e.g., Bo Garrett, Chad Donovan). Those were excluded, too. Some are yesterday’s news (e.g. www.jasonbranchblakeharper.com.) Also, some require adult checks (e.g. Chad Connors) and I didn’t include them either, except where there was significant content that was free without the adult check. I don’t know what’s up with that. I used to run into a ton of adult sites that had some sort of adult check; now a whole lot less. Not all sites seem current. Some don’t look like they have had entries for many moons. Others are quite up to date. Also, many porn stars’ sites appear to be dead (e.g., I could not get through to www.cole-tucker.com). But some dead porn stars have sites that are very much alive (e.g., www.scottohara.com). Weird. Anyway, here’s the list. And a few choice comments. Enjoy. Pictures (all “G” rated) (he’s a real cutie, BTW), personal info, political philosophy from gun control to religion, music compositions, sexuality test and discussion, fitness info, web site designs, etc. Jeff Palmer jeffpalmer.net bio (way, way, way too much bio), pics, interviews Frank Parker frankparker.com bio, personal info and an interesting page where Frank gives his take on his scenes in his vids Steve Pierce stevepierce.com a bit on the leather- BDSM- xtreme-side, if you’re not familiar with his work; lots of personal and career info; pics galore; and his attempt to answer the question, Is there Life After Porn? Alec Powers alecpowers.com honest, interesting personal info and Alec’s take on the porn industry; also he discusses several of his favorite vids; pics mostly candids, (others with adult check) Donnie Russo donnierusso.com bio and news items with photos but mostly a membership site Matt Sizemore mattsizemore.com Currently a free site; a very personal and information-filled site about Matt’s life, his work, his friends and family, his thoughts; fascinating; Lots of candid and work-related pics, including Matt’s baby photos! This is really sad! Someone should make an honorable online tribute to all those stars, (with names, bios, photos, and so on). Being gay as I am - and a minority among humans - these gay porn stars have had an impact on many of us, and for that they should be respected in a proper way - and not to be forgotten! [Link] |
