I've been a big fan ever since I first saw his stand up (too long ago to mention... don't want to date myself). Taylor Negron to Host GayVNs CHATSWORTH, Calif.- Actor/comic Taylor Negron is tapped to host the upcoming GayVN awards. Negron has appeared in TV series such as Seinfeld, E.R., Friends and the movies The Last Boy Scout and Better Off Dead. Jeremy Spencer, gay/bi managing editor for AVN, says, "We picked Taylor Negron because we felt his dry wit and humor would add a new flavor to the show and with his extensive background in film, and he's going to bring a different twist to the festivities. Think it's going to be a lot of fun." Negron replaces TV/screenwriter Bruce Villanch, who has hosted the GayVNs for the past two years. The GayVNs will be held at the Universal Hilton in Hollywood on March 22. A panel of approximately 50 judges, made up of reviewers and gay industry columnists, participated in the pre-nom and nomination process for the awards. Categories include Best Actor, Best All-Sex Video and Best Bisexual Video. Carnal Intentions (Men of Odyssey) leads the pack with 12 nominations. Seven Deadly Sins: Gluttony (All Worlds Video) comes in second with 11 nominations, and Sea Men: Fallen Angel 4 (Titan Media) is third with 10 awards.
