I am legitamilty interested in getting into porn. I love and respect this industry so much, its one of the only things i give 110% attention to. I know what some of you are thinking, this is just another guy who wants to have sex on camera cause he thinks thats cool. Well, while i do think its cool, i want to get into this industry for loads of other reasons. I am so interested in the art of making a great porn movie, i not only want to be an actor, but i do feel like i can be a great director too. I do feel like i can be really fucking good as a director in the adult industry. I know those two things are a stretch for a "rookie" like myself to achieve now. So, my question is, are their any other ways i can get involved and provide for this business that i love? Maybe be a movie reviewer or anything? Literally anything in this field id love to try my hand in. Id love to get your guys help and feedback. Many thanks.

For now I will offer you some things to think about before you even attempt anything. 1-Do you live in and around Los Angeles? While you don't have to. It will greatly help you to live in the city that is considered the heart of the porn industry. 2-What is your age? This may not be much of an issue with an established performer but newbies will be judged on their age. 3-Do you sport ink and if yes then how much? The more popular male performers tend to have few if any tattoos. 4-Can you easily get wood and more importantly keep wood for long periods? Drugs can be used but frankly you should be able to do it without artificial aid because drugs take a toll on the body. 5-Will you be thrilled when your friends and family know you do porn? If you won't then don't go beyond thinking about it because I can assure you that your porn career will come out and your friends and family will have varied reactions to the news. Now if all you want is to be part of the porn industry in a tiny way then you can review movies and websites. Movies on ADT and you can review websites on Porn User.
I just want to be involved in any way possible. Im fine with movie reviews and blogs for example. Having said that, how do i do that? Is there a place i have to sign up to be able to review?

i feel the same way. what part of the world are you from? i'm from australia. porn is only legal to make and produce in one state but i'm pretty sure people still make porn where i live. there's no real way for that to be controlled or policed these days. i think about directing a lot and that i could do it. do you have any experience working in film or TV? there are websites that advertise film and TV jobs available for crew, actors, extras etc and you can sometimes find unpaid work that can get you experience and perhaps a foot in the door.
i know people produce it all over the world but id like to get involved in REAL good porn, not just crap that any man with a camera can make. I heard the uk porn scene is growing now so i might try my luck there
maybe i'm the opposite, i think that i can make REAL good porn with just a camera. every time i watch porn, there's always details, nuances and motions and things that i want to see and hear. i think the same with any films reallly. yet porn to me seems far more achievable because its smaller scale production. i think in any form of art, it needs to please both yourself and an audience. having a clear vision and knowing what you want to see is a big part of directing.
if u can do it in an artitstic manner than im all for it. but the proble with those handheld camera pornos is that they laack art, and are just bad low quality bad angle sex tapes, u want art, check out some of LeWood's stuff, or my favorites JM production. they know how to make good porno
how have you done since your post? any progress? i've worked on 2x TV productions and scored a few.jobs as an extra actor on some TV shows here in my country. i'm hoping to score some more work on another TV or film production and hopefully have some more extra TV or film acting work coming up. those are only small things but my "foot is in the door" so to speak, so i can now apply for other jobs and roles..
I havent done much beyond some reviews here and thwre. My passion always has been and always will be to perform and\or direct pornos. I havent done either unfortunatly, im still hoping one day ill get to do it
