I just finished watching guttermouths #30 and gia paloma' scene was thee stand out for me, It just got me thinking about how much of what she said is really "acting"? for instance "treat me like the peice of shit whore i am ".
With her recent od at the avn awards, people usually do drugs to numb themselves to something, or to mask out pain etc.
I wish gia well but after watching her scene and the recent events that happen it made me think about it.
if anyone would like to chime in on this I would appreciate it.
I don't know if I'd call it a downward spiral. It look at it this way, we all have "issues" in our lives and we deal with them in different ways. I like Gia' s work in porn and I wish her the best.

people normally do coke, because it feels Good!!! And it keeps you up all night. You pay for it though because it pushes your anxiety levels up...as it wears off. Gia im sure is not the only one in the Porn world thats taking drugs!
Yeah, that's all sweet and nice, but I think it's a good thing clivebuckwheat1's conscious made him question that with the recent situation. How anybody could look at the "man" involved and think "this crackhead looking bastard is somebody I want to hang with and therefore put my health in his hands" is beyond me. Maybe there is a connection with easily being able to say "treat me like the piece of shit that I am" and getting involved with such people? I think somebody saying they really enjoyed listening to Gia say those things knowing what's going on with her personally are the type of people that would concern me. "She nearly died off screen and on screen she wants to be treated like the piece of shit that she is. This is HOT!". Kind of a fucked up way to be I think.
Though I do have to tell you being maybe 5 feet away from the "OD" when it took place it was more comedy than drama. It was the oddest thing I've ever seen. I don't know what an OD is supposed to look like, but to have a strange spasm, drop to the floor, role around for a minute, then crawl as fast as you can to the bar where you wait for a stretcher, then when the stretcher lifts you up you shoot 2 thumbs up to people at the bar with a huge smile on your face all just seemed too fake to me. In closing quite possibly the funniest part was listening to 1 of Gia's "friends" on his cell phone telling somebody in a panic "man Gia just OD'd at the circle bar. She was getting high with "Mr. Crackhead" and he gave her some bad shit". If this person considers himself Gia's friend maybe he should think about suggesting to Gia that she not get high with "Mr. Crackhead" anymore.
she will be fine....she made a mistake that lots of other people her age have done....she experimented and lost...the only difference was that she was fans and did it in front of them (and co workers). you guys know as well as I do that there are porn stars who do drugs....lets not single out Gia as going off the deep end. As for the scene, its just a line.....lets not play amateur psychologists.....young people make mistakes....dont you agree?
and of course there are scumbags hanging around her....like sharks, they know which young girls make a lot of cash and are young.....she will learn, dont worry

Too bad Gia Paloma isn't downward spiraling into my lap.
The whole "I'm a piece of shit whore" schtick is getting really tired and cliche. They should come up with something more original. Meatholes has run it all into the ground.
I think Clive has an interesting point, and I agree with a lot of his post. Generally, compulsive behavior such as over indulging in drugs, booze, sex, food, etc is some sort of attempt to "self medicate". When you bring in young girls, many of whom already have emotional issues, and then introduce them to a lifestyle in which lots of cash and drugs are readily available, it isn't surprising that some of them won't be able to handle it.
normally if they have emotional issues..theyve been messing around with drugs before they even get into the industry...but true if they're more readily available that's not going to help them. Some friends are not "friends" Totally unreal suggestion .... but Agencies should take more interest in protecting their talent!
I do and trust me on this one you don't want to witness one.I was at this escort's place i knew back then.She sent me to get her some "powder" as she was too high to go on her own.When i came back, i found her lying on the floor, at first i thought she was dead.Hopefully she was still breathing.Anyways to make the story short, i had to spend the rest of the night with her at the hospital.Definitely one of the most frightening experiences if not the most i've lived through.Being young, i was stupid to continue hanging around with her which brought me BIG problems later on.
