Most people here are civil, but still, there are fanboys who'll do anything to make sure their favorite pornstar is put on such a pedestal that anything you say is deemed offensive or disrespectful. What annoys me the most is when someone disagrees with something a pornstar has done, let's say a boob job, by saying ''she really didn't need an augmentation, she was perfect!'', only to have the fanboy in question say gibberish like ''it's her body and she can do what she wants!''.
Uhh, yeah that's obvious but the amount of white knighting on here is really annoying at times. Now I don't know what negative or judgmental things have been said on here about her, but in general I think ADT is a good forum with genuine fans where you can hear both sides of the coin. And besides, sooner or later a hater or troll will surface anyway, so it's futile to try to please everybody on the planet. It's the internet and that's how it was and how it will be.
All that fake social media adoration like Pitbull67 described above is indeed even worse.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that once shooting slowly resumes in California I would like to see Gianna do a new scene with Mike Adriano!
Well, on social media you can block people, something which isn't (immediately) possible here. That of course leads to a bubble where you eventually only see positive posts of people praising you. On the other hand, why should you bother to read the negative stuff? When on conventions and stuff, you also mostly get positive reactions (simply because a negative post is easy and free, but being an asshole on a convention requires time and effort, so few will deem it worthy)
On social media like Twitter you are highly praised, but you can also endure deep insults. In the end, it's a zero-sum game. ADT is a much smaller community, much more intimate. I don't know Gianna's reasons, but generally I think for this reason it requires more self-confidence of the performers to write here than on eg Twitter or Instagram. And for me that's a reason why many (not all) performers find it difficult to write here.
For me it's a "no-go" to go to the thread of a performer to write (simply spoken) "I don't like you". Each fan has his favorites and also girls he likes less, that's normal. Otherwise constructive critics are very eligible. When a girl plans a boobjob, it's absolutely ok for me to reply "You don't need this, you are beautiful as you are" (this is a high appreciation btw). Of course many starlets react very thin-skinned in these cases.
It's my experience and a paradox for me, that exactly these users who request bodily changes like boobjobs or even more extreme action like Gangbangs or DAP from a girl (and set them under pressure) are the first who fight back when there are opposite opinions. I hear "She's free to do what she wants, it's her body". Yes, exactly!

I will say that on ADT performer threads, even if largely positive, it can get a little obsessive at times. That might be a reason performers aren't as keen to post here.

Well, that sucks...in the past week, two of my favorite current pornstars - Gianna Dior and Jane Wilde - have announced they will no longer interact with fans on Adult DVD Talk. As usual, even though the vast majority of members are respectful and nothing but complimentary towards them, the performers can't help but focus on the very few negative posts and, as a result, they decide to quit ADT altogether.

I just think being in the public eye as a young person with all the social media is not easy. You get used to hearing only what you want to hear. All filters on Twitter and Co. are set to ass kissing. And then a young girl on ADT reads adulation 49 times, one negative post and she is out of balance. An experienced professional athlete, often ignores negative opinions after a game because he can assess them.
For a young person living in this fake world, this is often much more difficult.
This is so true. I get it, it's hard to read people's opinions of you. It's up to her to determine how she wants to conduct herself. Ass kissers probably pay more for onlyfans and such anyway.
It is a bummer but you would think that someone who relies on the good will of fans to earn a living would want to keep all doors open. Especially when there is nothing remotely close to ADT on the net. Not participating in this forum doesn't mean that she can spend more time on another forum. I assume that performers like everybody in the entertainment industry have a certain number of detractors but I'd like to think that these people are the minority and to arbitrary bunch everyone in the same basket seems shortsighted.
I'm not going to get pissed that she said some less than kind things about all of us participants anymore than I'm going to stop posting in her thread if it's a subject I'm interested in. I think she has every right to do what she wants and if she decides to comeback then that will great but otherwise. Any new info about Gianna will have to come from other sources then herself which frankly it already was as many of us follow her career quite closely.

In the best of cases everyone could get their desired anal scene . For me boots are only second worse to snickers ( distracting or uninteresting ) . Slightly better would be closed heels or socks .
