Well i guess i was wrong, things that i heard was she was really done with porn. Glad she is back, i hope she does a variety of new things and stays around for years to come.
Great news about Gigi coming back. I hope we might get another scene with her and Melanie Rios. The only one was for an oil themed movie and I'm not to crazy on that aspect of porn so hopefully Elegant might pair these two up for one of their Club 59 g/g series!
Although I'd acknowledge that Gigi will probably be able to do teen scenes until she's 45, I do hope to see less of her in pigtails and more of her in more womanly attire (especially black stockings!).
So happy to hear the rumors confirmed! Still one of the best models I have worked with in the eight years I have been producing. So...to celebrate, some never before seen shots of the lovely Ms. Rivera.
^I know she posted in July that she was coming back but I don't think she did, Her last twitter post was in February so she ceertainly isn't on twitter anymore. No one has heard or seen anything new from her since her post in July. Unless she comes here and tells us then we can only guess what happened. She was super popular so there is no way she wouldn't have done some content on the net or in dvds. I have a theory as to what might have happened but I have no facts so it's just my opinion. All I hope is that she is doing well wherever she is now.

and the sad thing is the wannabes are around for maybe 2 or 3 movies while Gigi, Lexi and the rest bust ass and are trying to consistently put out great product
I don't have any personal info on why Gigi didn't make a comeback so unless she comes on here and tell us what happened then we are all going to make assumptions. My assumption is that she found the porn life to be much harder than she thought and that's why she quit in February. She reconsidered her decision a couple of months later because she needed the money but the porn life was still the same so making a comeback was not an option. It's also possible that she really wanted to make a comeback but she may have gotten into drugs and alcohol and the new Gigi is not what studios want to hire. Porn is a business and studios are in it to make money and seeing as Gigi was a very popular performer then I can't see why any studio would pass up the chane to hire her for at least one shoot if she was willing and was in good shape. As much as I would want to see more scenes with Ggi. I much prefer knowing that she's healthy and happy doing anything else.
^^ of course it is speculation , I don't know what really happened to her , though I doubt she was expecting any change in the industry from February to May , nor I believe is happening the same to all of the stars who aren't working that I mentioned before , i saw that some scenes of Lexi Belle are coming almost all feature movies but at least she is working , Ashlyn Rae disappear same for Tiffany Star , potential stars aren't working at all such as Proxy Paige or Veronica Rodriguez. Marie Luv moved to Florida , many ended escorting,I know of a star who did FIVE scenes only from january which wasn't even enough to pay monthly medical exams so ended escorting, but some aren't doing anything at all , many are working in strip clubs or dancing clubs , but they aren't working in the industry. can't be a coincidence I can name a huge list of performers not working and some of them are names able to make sell a DVD by themselves alone , Allie Haze for example there is only a movie to come out of her in January 2012 an nothing else , except for compilation there is only ONE movie of Nicole Ray coming out in October and nothing else. WTF is going on? EDIT We're a little OT though , Gigi Rivera fits my statements but the missing stars aren't our topic

I don't think it was anyone playing a joke. I'm pretty sure the post was from Gigi herself but just because she said that she was going to make a comeback doesn't mean that she did. In fact she didn't make a comeback. You had to be a little suspicious when Gigi who left at the beginning of this year and then a couple of months later makes an announcement that she's coming back. Be happy that she did porn for a short while and be even happier that she left before it destroyed her. Porn is not for everyone and those girls that stick with it beyond their tolerance point usually turn to drugs and alcohol. In the case of Gigi who was a major pot head then she was already into drugs prior to doing porn.
