As far as I know the current DVD does not include the re-shot scenes with Ginger as the Devil. Is this correct? and why?

I believe that info from the IMDB is incorrect. To the best of my knowledge the scene with Traci Lords was just cut from the film and was never refilmed with another actress, let alone one that was already in the film.

Flash is right. The re-release (at least the one I saw) merely took out her scene. Since it was mostly vignettes, it wasn't an issue.

Ginger only played the hooker (doing a then rare-DP) with Tom Byron and Steve Powers.

Flash & Adult... are right. Another thing and I might have mentioned it before. The original home video of NWH had Traci on the box cover art pre scandal. Post scandal rerelese had Ginger on the cover and she remains up to now. I have old prescandal promos for NWH with Traci on the cover.
