For those who haven't seen Ginger since her comeback, she is definitely more buffed than she was back in the '80s-check out those abs in the first pic!

I got there early because I wanted to get a good seat. The club, Splendor, promoted Ginger's appearance for a month so I expected a large crowd. My expectations were fulfilled as the club had a lot more people than usual. I generally sit in the back where I can get a better view of the action and I was not disappointed.

Ginger arrived a bit late due to a problem with the airline which included losing some of her luggage. She was keeping her cool about it and one of the club dancers mentioned that Ginger was a major class act in how she treated them in the back room. Dancers are a competitive lot so when they say nice things about someone that isn't paying them wads of cash, they generally mean it (they have nothing to gain by being nice and feature dancers usually cost them dances).

She was accompanied by a guy named "Eddie" who also travels with Chloe and does make up in the porn industry. I've mentioned elsewhere that he looks a bit like the bad guy in the TV show Mutant X but he was very nice to everyone as well. Far too often, the male assistant of the feature dancers is a suitcase pimp boyfriend who acts like the dancer is property but he was helpful to everyone and kept to the background as he helped out. I'm not sure if he is the same Eddie that Tina Tyler referred to in her recent AVN column but I wouldn't be surprised given his polite manners at the club.

The club dancers were a lot more aggressive in this visit than they had been previously. There was a new manager who looked just like Randy West keeping things running as he walked around the club. I declined to ask if he was actually Randy for obvious reasons and patiently listened to his lecture that my ADT T-shirt was inappropriate attire, no matter what previous managers told me. (they all liked it to the point that they'd ask me for advice)

It had been awhile since I visited the club due to a car accident I was involved in earlier in the year. My knee had been hurt by a guy who ran into me and my leg still bothers me to the point that having women bounce on my lap, while soliciting lap dances, hurts too much to enjoy them. There were some drop dead gorgeous women there though and several of them were friendly enough to chat me up about ADT and why I was at the club (even after I explained that I really wasn't interested in paying for company that night).

When Ginger hit the stage, everyone was worked up to the point that she could work them over easily. She had an awful lot of talent in that small, curvy body of hers. She pranced about like she loved what she was doing and told us that she had to improvise her outfits since her wardrobe was currently lost by the airline. In all, I'd have never guessed she had a problem with clothing. At one point, she even auctioned off her panties for some huge amount of money with plenty of guys bidding to get them. I believe a couple of the club dancers bid too. Other than that, men were throwing money at her (or placing it gently in her G-String) and I was told she did even better later that week. It must've helped that E! had run her biography that Sunday but I even saw a few familiar faces who told me they were also long time fans of hers.

Ginger then set up a table to sell movies, autographs, and polaroids for fans. The line was so long that she had to do her next set before she got to everyone. She made it a point to give some quality time to each guy (and a few women), even though she was obviously in great demand. I spoke with Eddie about it and he filled me in about how popular she is on the club circuit. I didn't even ask how much her private dances were (although I got the feeling that I would've gotten a big break in price) because she had plenty of customers lined up and time was short. Even after the second show, she kept so busy that we only got to speak for a few minutes.

I noticed that she told plenty of customers that she had a bad memory but when I mentioned my reviewing name, she started dropping references to things we had discussed via email over the last year or so-even about the Chat she had here almost 2 years ago. I avoided asking her anything about her recent job at Simon Wolf (we had emailed about it and, class act that she is, said nothing bad about them) or her medical problems. She's definitely a lot sharper than she wants to let on though.

I got a couple of things signed (I was kicking myself because I couldn't find my Wing Commander 3 booklet for her to sign) but she had to run off for a few dances before the club closed so I missed out on getting Astroknight a signed picture (next time buddy). As it was, I didn't get home until after 3:30 AM on a work night (and no, I wasn't partying with Ginger after closing like some people have suggested) but I greatly look forward to seeing her dance again, even if it means traveling. I had intended on going back that week but things didn't work out as planned (do they ever?) so I'll file it away in my memorybank to do so. Maybe I'll get a chance to take her and Eddie out to dinner next time (showing some Texan hospitality).

The bottomline is that Ginger is looking very fit, much younger than her years, and once again reaffirms my many comments that women shouldn't be as disposable in the industry as so many are willing to make them. PS: sorry about how long it took to get the pics to y'all, I screwed up my friend's digital camera and recovering the pics was almost impossible-I replaced the camera with a much newer model for her to make up for it.

But I do not agree: Most porn girls make them disposale themselves by retiring all that early or stopping to cater for the crowd they used to. There are so many girls I cross my fingers they do not retire this year already! Me, I want the good
ones (take Snowmans raincoat list for example) to stay AND hundreds of new faces to get into porn annually.
