S1 E6 : Private School w/ Aidra Fox, Emily Willis , Georgia Jones & Angela White
The sixth and final episode of season one of Girlcore opens in a classroom. We see a note be written and passed from Athena Rayne to Bobbi Dylan. The all-girl class is talking about a party and Emily Willis pranks Natalie Brooks rather than give her a piece of gum. Chloe Foster who sits in front asks the girls to be quiet. Georgia is right down to business offering the class a chance to go over the Spanish Inquisition in their textbooks before a planned quiz. She says that the girls would actually probably like her if they got to know her. The class laugh at her.

This was fantastic! I loved the way that the characters were developed and portrayed from beginning to end. Every one of these archetypes has been seen before , but they were treated with more care and depth than usual. Some of that is owed to time , we got about 15 minutes or so before the actual sex began. The extra parts by the rest of the class also gives everything a better grounding too. Similar to the way the extras in ' The Go Girls ' helped to make the class feel full , even the little chance to play off extra personalities gave the scene a more cinematic feel.
I particularly liked the outfits and looks by Bobbi and Chloe amongst the extra players. Little touches like that are a great way to make a fan like me wish for some kind of continuation or sequel - and in the event that it never happens it's still something I look for as someone who wants complete stories and deep characters.
The casting of the stars was so well done too. Aidra and Emily were great as bratty girls. The moment when they were leaning over the desk with their skirts up , looking back to tease Georgia was cute beyond words. They just had perfect mischievous grins. I was really in love with this pair. On one hand I'm super psyched for Aidra getting a major role. She's a genuine star who always delivers but doesn't seem to get as many bookings as her g/g skills merit. Emily meanwhile is pretty damn new to Girlsway , but already making a huge splash across all of Gamma's platforms. That's a nice balance of giving a great veteran her due and giving a new starlet a chance to prove she's a breakout talent.
Georgia was also superb as the substitute teacher - because she can turn that sort of switch where she goes from professional buttoned down lady to wild sex kitten like no one else. This was key to me , as someone who doesn't care all that much for hard reluctance. Georgia Jones might just be too into pussy to hold back ( but I love that about her) . I'm glad that she was encouraged to show her character as really getting into the action and cut loose.

I can't say enough about Angela White as the super horny principal. Just hearing her say pornography with her accent was sexy AF. I think there is something about accents that give a kind of authoritative air on their own , and of course her energy and appetite for ladies always stands out. She did a good job of being bossy but happy at the same time.
I mentioned the reference to Fast Times at Ridgemont High before but I think it's worth mentioning again as a good basis this scene. Much like Strange Nurses was the best use of the hospital set , this was the best thing produced in the classroom so far.
I had concerns early that the desk wouldn't be big enough for everything but in the end I hardly noticed the space constraints of it. The multiple chain segments and then the triple team climax where Georgia was initiated into the all-girl school world were very well scripted as kind of set pieces for the sex.
I would love for this school specifically to become a kind of narrative anchor for Girlsway. I know, I'm the guy always going on about continuity but I do think it could work. Even outside of the bubble of Girlcore's 80's playground making a school itself have a lesbian legacy would be really cool.
Thematically this final first season installment does seem to fit with the idea they Girlcore itself is about more than the 80's nostalgia. Is it a callback to the roots of pornography or sexual development as I have elsewhere supposed? It's easy and maybe simplistic to say that high school is the first place many people find themselves thinking as sexual beings and so if you are thinking along those lines creatively a ' schoolgirl ' scene is a safe bet to work well. But I love how this whole series takes a lot of simple safe bets and then breathes life into them by treating them like more than that.
This was among my favorite scenes in the first season. For me, I think it's between ' The Go Girls ' and ' Private School'. Both were foursomes , but more important for me was that I could easily dream up how the stories would evolve or continue.

Final Series Thoughts
I can't say for sure that my interpersonal readings of the scenes resonate with others - but it's enough to say how they resonated with me. I do love to dive beneath the surface of everything and consider what the intent and motivation for everything is. Porn reviewers don't often get to do that seriously and so I really appreciated the experience I've had viewing, and writing about this project.
I know that Bree drew inspiration from the old pulp novels ( like the one read in class here ). But those actually date back further to the 50's. So , I'm left to wonder if there might be even more period pieces in the future. Maybe a season for every decade going backwards would be possible.
I always find myself ending GW features talking up the real passion you can feel behind the production and that's as true as ever here. I've even been criticized a time or two for being too much sunshine and rainbows in my reviews; but here's the thing - I don't get paid to kiss ass or even get free porn in exchange for reviews. I choose to write about the movies I really like because I really like them. And man did I love Girlcore.
There was so much in these episodes to appreciate from the acting and care that was taken with characters. I still think Kenna's character in episode 1 might be the most complex character in the whole thing. It was about more than sex for her character , even though she spent most of her time imaging Cherie , and that's a rare thing to feel after watching porn. Whitney Wright did as well as anyone can with a reluctance role in her scene and even if it's not what I look for , it's something to be noted and applauded. Alexis Fawx was pitch perfect as the sultry seductive boss , and Kristen Scott sizzled as the punky bad influence playing off innocent 'twins'. I would argue that the foursomes were some of the best as far as sex goes and for the high energy needed the castings great. Where one on ones , or even threesomes gave more opportunity to build unique character relationships the group scenes still had moments that something as simple as facial expressions conveyed a lot - Scarlett's surprised look when she was squatting and got licked is a good example of this working.
Overall I am pretty much in awe of Girlcore as a whole. I personally love the 80's backdrop because I grew up with all that but even without the cultural connection I think the variety offers something for almost any fan. Serious and sometimes dark love, light hearted romp, taboo, a little sub / domme dynamics, it's all here and it's all approached with a commitment to quality.
