And I'll mention this again: as far as I know, this site is still working on the movies for VOD and DVD before releasing them on their website. As for the future, I honestly don't know. There's also no evidence that the DVDs aren't selling, or that the different volumes of a particular series aren't being sold.
Otherwise, they could simply close production tomorrow and then announce in the news, "We're bankrupt or making losses, so we can't continue making DVDs. We need to completely revamp ourselves and hopefully come back next year." 😅
So, until we actually know what's happening behind the scenes, I think it's better not to assume that the DVD/VOD business is failing.
As I said, from the director's point of view, I still stand by my viewpoint that changing directors, making collaborations, or introducing new directors to shoot scenes doesn't guarantee success. But at the same time, it also doesn't mean the studio will suddenly fail and have to shut down.
Again, this studio is still holding on to its consumers and customers. How much longer they can do that, or what they will do in the future, I honestly can't say. I can't see the future! 😅
