^I'm sorry, but what I mentioned about the scenes I liked is just my subjective opinion. If you didn't like those scenes or found them irritating, that's completely fine.
And I'll mention this again: as far as I know, this site is still working on the movies for VOD and DVD before releasing them on their website. As for the future, I honestly don't know. There's also no evidence that the DVDs aren't selling, or that the different volumes of a particular series aren't being sold.
Otherwise, they could simply close production tomorrow and then announce in the news, "We're bankrupt or making losses, so we can't continue making DVDs. We need to completely revamp ourselves and hopefully come back next year." 😅
So, until we actually know what's happening behind the scenes, I think it's better not to assume that the DVD/VOD business is failing.
As I said, from the director's point of view, I still stand by my viewpoint that changing directors, making collaborations, or introducing new directors to shoot scenes doesn't guarantee success. But at the same time, it also doesn't mean the studio will suddenly fail and have to shut down.

Again, this studio is still holding on to its consumers and customers. How much longer they can do that, or what they will do in the future, I honestly can't say. I can't see the future! 😅

Only one site is still putting out voluminous GG content. The audience has unfortunately spoken.

^^ I perhaps didn't need to state it that way. It was something about you impying that the site is still able to draw in fans. Maybe I misinterpreted that as well. The scenes were good, but not enough for me to join. Perhaps they are better than several others. They are shot well and the sex part is okay.

^^If you are referring to Girlsway, then yes, they are currently dominating the girl-girl (GG) industry. Many fans still enjoy their content and movies. They are the biggest survivors and profit-makers in GG content.

Bree Mills has made no secret of her ambition to approach the production of porn with Gamma as a TV with a large number of channels to choose from. There’s nothing wrong with that by itself as art has always imitated life. With that being said however, if all the content on the channels starts to look, sound, feel and come across as the same; you’re going to lose people. There’s a reason why the boy band era came, peaked and then fell apart from 1996 to 2002 – that’s because the music sounded the same along with the impromptu groups that popped up during that time. The singers became less unique, less interesting, less compelling as they got older and collectively the machine behind them couldn’t adapt with the times. I’d love for GFF to adapt the high production levels of the VMG brands, the sordid soap opera like feel of AHL/MissaX, the grounded yet innovative nature of features like Talk Derby To Me & Girls of Wrestling that put SHV back on fans’ radars, take all those elements – combining them into a unique style that they can claim as their own. Because the distinct DNA that put GFF on the map in the first place is in danger of dissipating into the bowels of a corporate behemoth.
The greatest weakness of GFF is the need for a single visionary director and writer at the helm of every production. It’s no secret that without Nica Noelle, both GFF and SHV would never have gotten to the height of studio porn that they did but that structure is severely handicapping GFF. They would get much further with a stable of reliable directors, allowing the talent to be able to offer ideas to be translated into the scenes.

Say what you will about ‘art core’ porn; there’s a reason why the VMG has been the gold standard of excellence when it comes to American porn studios: every established pornstar or rising new female performer has either shot with them or wants to shoot with them, those who have been in scenes for everything from Vixen to Blacked to Slayed to Deeper have all had nothing but praise and appreciation for the experience. The way they are treated, the volume of input and control they are given over their scenes from the male/female talent to setup to the location ought to be a blueprint for GFF. It’s not luck or a coincidence that in 12 years, the VMG has ascended the mountain but has remained the undisputed king of the studios; the reason is because Lansky is absolutely brilliant and wisely created a company that could not just function but flourish without him. That could remain the ultimate name on every performer’s wishlist of companies they would give anything to work for. GFF takes a few notes and they could become a cornerstone of G/G scenes yet again. Before anyone accuses me of kissing up to the VMG, let me state clearly for the record that I am hardly a fan, I’ve watched a handful of their scenes but what I have seen of the few I have watched is absolutely incredible. More so than Gamma; VMG’s scenes are so rich, sensual, visually luxurious and stunning that even I’m watching with in excited awe.

There was a time when getting booked by GFF was like getting an Associate Degree in G/G porn, anyone who was going to be strictly G/G or planned on starting that way, was dying to get the opportunity. Jenna Sativa, Shyla Jennings, Dani Daniels, Kenna James, Samantha Ryan, Karlie Montana, Allie Haze. Sarah Vandella, Gianna Dior, Sinn Sage and the list goes on with almost anyone who is seen as a powerhouse G/G having earned their stripes with GFF. They didn’t become a cornerstone by throwing shit at a wall and seeing what sticks, they got there by putting out scenes that actually gave time for both performers to get fully aroused to reach orgasm which is far more enjoyable than a lot of the over the top stuff that was prevalent during that time. It’s not just about directors, it’s about having someone with a vision that permeates and elevates the brand. There’s a reason why GFF and SHV both saw their stock rise with Nica Noelle at the helm which proves that one person can make a difference. You ask where the loss is?

Massive financial losses: Adult content creators lose an estimated $2.1 billion annually to piracy, with an average monthly loss of $4,500 per creator experiencing active leaks. Some creators report losing up to 20% of their earnings to stolen content.

Subscriber erosion: When exclusive content is freely available on leak sites, fans often stop paying for subscriptions, leading to 20–40% drops in new subscribers for those with widely leaked content.(Just imagine what happens when instead of 20-40%, it becomes 50-70% or even 60 to 80% in the erosion department especially as technology facilitating piracy develops rapidly.) And bear in mind that most studios are not going the route of the VMG and filing heavy duty lawsuits. The issue isn’t one of failure, the issue is one of stagnation and that is a huge part of what fans are hypercritical of Brazzers. When it comes to the entertainment industry, you’re either growing or contracting, mainstream entertainment is finding out first hand what happens when you go with endless sequels, prequels, remakes, reboots as theater attendance keeps contracting and less people overall wanting to pay for a formulaic product. You want to talk numbers?

Recent industry analyses suggest piracy costs the global film industry between $29.2 billion and $71 billion per year. A 2024 study commissioned by the Motion Picture Association (MPAA) found that DVD and internet piracy cost movie studios $6.1 billion in the previous year. For mainstream studios, piracy is a multi-billion-dollar annual drain. While global estimates are in the tens of billions, U.S.-focused data show that even within the domestic market, losses exceed $6 billion per year from DVD and internet piracy alone. Now imagine how bad the numbers will become studio porn and you see what I mean about wanting to get creative so that more customers will opt to pay rather than go to the pirate sites.

^Don't just show me the overall numbers. Because of piracy, studios are obviously facing losses, but I want to see specific numbers-for example, whether there is any data showing that Girlfriend Films is losing a certain amount because of piracy, or whether specific movies/videos have suffered measurable losses.
I'm asking because I genuinely want to understand: if a studio has supposedly gone bankrupt, has lost most of its subscribers, or fans have stopped buying video-on-demand content, how are they still continuing to operate? Is there any specific analysis or financial data on this?
Also, I can share a report that seems to counter your overall assessment that the adult entertainment industry is losing money because of piracy. Are the following reports about annual growth in the adult entertainment industry fake or inaccurate?

^^Your point about piracy and financial losses can be valid, but have GG studios actually shut down because of piracy? Piracy has been an issue for years, so I don't think it can simply be used as the main reason for the overall decline in GG content quality.

You say that Allherluv content brings its own uniqueness, but are there actually any facts or figures showing how many new subscribers are being added to their websites every day?
Are their movies and scenes being widely discussed on social media, especially Twitter/X? If not, then they are simply targeting a specific audience that subjectively enjoys their content. So, I think your assessment that their content is widely accepted across the GG industry is very wrong.
Girlsway is probably the only one that has managed to build a truly large-scale business around its content and subscriber base; it publicly advertises a huge library and frequent daily updates.

The others, in my opinion, are mostly just surviving and somehow holding things together.
And I just want to conclude by saying that changing directors can somehow rejuvenate things. But right now, it feels like this is the era of Girlsway. Just like when Dan was there during the golden era of GFF, the content was far superior to what most other studios were producing in the GG industry.
Nowadays, it feels like the majority of people only watch one piece of content and discuss it-and somehow, it's usually Girlsway. Is it just me, or maybe a few crazy GG watchers like Mike Quasar's content? Sometimes I also appreciate B.Skow's work, and lately, even AllHerLuv has had some good content. But otherwise, honestly, it's mostly Girlsway

Hahaha! There's no fighting, as far as I know-it's just healthy debate. I think the decline in GG quality isn't entirely because of piracy or the abundance of formulaic/pre scripted content available right now. The bigger issue is what's happening behind the scenes at the studios and what the target audience is actually consuming on their websites.
The problem is that nobody can be absolutely accurate about the numbers being presented. And, most importantly, if there has been such an overall decline in quality, how are these sites still continuing for such a long period of time?
Take GFF, for example. They're still following basically the same model-VOD and DVD releases, followed by uploading the content to their website after some days, and in some cases, many days after the initial release

Putting it down to one or two things is probably too simplistic and thereby largely inaccurate.
There are obvious methods of attempting to control piracy: a) not allow downloads; b) allow limited downloads*; 3) Litigate to shut down the piracy.
Not allowing downloading is counter-productive, because I will never join under those conditions. The limited download is clearly has another aim: attempt to prevent people subscribing short-term, i.e. persuade them into a long to medium length subscriptions.
It's interesting in the fact that Girlsway uploaded/sponsored scenes on free streaming sites, clearly a marketing campaign to entice people to join. In this way piracy can be seen as a partial good, a type of marketing, if you will. Demonstrate the content you have, bombard people with the brand name. Obviously there's a huge downside to this.
There is a massive amount of pirated content from VT, StrapLez, SexArt, Girlsway, GFF, yet I still subscribed to three of those and considering another. Yeah, I know it's a poor argument using 'I' myself as an example.
I wouldn't say that VMG has the magic method of producing a quality product or surviving better than others

You just hit the nail on the head with this statement. I didn't want to mention it earlier, but some sites actually encourage piracy. I don't want to make this controversial because I have no evidence to support it. That said,
I just want to say the following:
1. Affiliation
2. More people watch-more people may subscribe.
