The other thread was not peremptorily closed, there were more warnings issued in that one thread during such a short span than are normally ever given before a thread is permanently shut down. Not all those who contributed got "punished" for the transgressions of one guy, the thread was locked because there were repeated violations of Adult DVD Talk rules by numerous members. To have reopened that one at this point, all bad posts would have to be deleted, which would lose information as that would just be a wholesale deletion of any post that violated rules in any way and probably would have taken long enough that the thread and topic would have never reopened. The member you were whining to, he was the thread that broke the camels back, thinking he could return. He (Slammer 7), mangouste1, MaMaMonkey, EngineeringScott, halobb, Jedi Master Bates, Bekzzz, JosephMerrick, and rhoudyrat are "the transgressions of one guy" that caused the series of warnings and/or deactivations that happened in that thread which lead to the eventual closing. If someone went through the entire thread, I'm sure there were more violating the site rules there that weren't caught. Honestly, I would recommend going back on the topic of this thread, if this becomes lets crank about the moderation in the last thread this thread won't be around for long either. [Link]
