I keep hearing how women tout that it's girth, not length, that is more important in the "size factor".

Now, based on that, I have long imagined an add-on item that one can place over the guy's penis that will do nothing but make him thicker. Kind of like a hollow tube made of gel that one slips on - like a sleeve. I recognize, of course, that it would take all the sensation out of his half of the game but knowing that it could please the hell out of his girl.

Anyone have any idea if this even exists

Welcome WildlySensual - Excellent question! Love the name & like the way you think, but those hardworking sextoy manufacturers have several products on the market, usually listed as 'extensions' or 'PPA's' (prosthetic penis aid?), kind of like a hollowed out strap-on, if you will.
While there is some validity to the "girth over length" preference, my sense is this is only expressed as a result of men's solicitation of an answer to this age old question, rather than any pressing need. These devices, some of which can be viewed here
PPA's/Extensions/Strap-on's are made more for the seriously deficient to non-existent, and let's face it - not very appealing. But, you might be on to something - if they could come up with something more aesthetically pleasing and find a way to keep it firmly in place without cutting off all blood circulation, there might be a market out there. Keep up the

I mean, heck, they make gel wrist pads (albeit for work, not play) and gelly shoes and gel pen grips (for arthritis or whatever) ... they should make it for our other appendiges as well!

I see that most of the stuff in that category at Toy Chest all comes with extra length for - as you said - the small to non-existent. I just want to a little girth; the length, I have enough of (or so I'd like to think).

That's my two cents.

Question back out there ... has anyone ever fashioned a contraption (as requested in the first post) on their own?

I've seen cyberskin extensions for sale.
They shouldn't cut off blood circulation and well.. cyberskin is supposed to feel like real skin..
but ya know.. whatever makes you happy.
