Enough to make it worth shooting. The truth is that, like when they started shooting in 4K before everyone else, it's a play for the future, and not for the present.
Also, they shot August in a non-VR scene the day before (that one was just a normal b/g scene, though).

Because it would require shooting the scene twice, which would require paying the talent more. There's no way to shoot the scene with a regular camera where you wouldn't be able to see said camera in the VR version.

lol to all the guys who complain about the VR scene. You guys obviously never used a Virtual reality headset like Vive or Rift. I have a oculus rift and i watch regular vr scenes and its the fucking best. I'm sure all major studios will have a VR section in the future, simply because its fucking amazing and the most immersive porn experience you can have. Like i said it's obvious you guys never had a VR experience, because it feels like you are actually there in the room with the performer and not just looking at a screen. Its something you cant describe other people you have to make the experience on your own.

^Of course i know that, because im a developer for vr gaming. And of course i respect the opinion of the others. but you guys make it sound like the companies should stop producing vr content, although there is a big market for this stuff. And i just wanted to make clear that there are a lot of people like me who really like this stuff.
Also the head of naughty america said on reddit he would like to produce a lot more vr stuff as soon as the headsets are affordable for the mainstream. But enough from my side back to topic.
