Its not the best place to purchase porn. But you can find some gems there depending on what you are after.
For example, I went 2/3years ago and picked up Rocco Meats and American Angel in PAris on DVD, it s not even out in the States on DVD. I also saw some other great Rocco titles not on DVD in US yet such as True Anal Stories 9.
But it depends on what porn you are going to buy. The animal trainer series go under different names so don't go out there looking speciafically Animal Trainer ###.
A lot of outlets do differ greatly in price, you really do have to shop around. I don't know the name of the shop, but its painted blue and orange on the outside, and on the border of the Red Light district. Basically, head for 'The Greenhouse', there's a street right beside it, and this DVD store is in that street.
I think the prices are expensive but, its worth paying if there's a title thats not available in the states.
If your after DVD's forgot the red light area as they are twice as expensive as London's soho.However the magazines are a good price.
I would go to the CD outlet "Fame" which is situated on the Kalverstraat to the left hand side of Dam Square and The Royal Palace. They have many XXX DVD's at around 19 Euros or less. Well they did when i visited Amsterdam back in May.

The last time I went to that FAME store (it was a long time ago) they only had boring titles from companies like Vivid, Wicked and VCA. I'm not sure if they have improved like selling titles from Evil Angel for example.
I agree about the prices in the Red light district. It's pure theft the prices there.

That sounds fishy to me. The Animal Trainer series is definitely released in The Netherlands under that title by a distributor called Shiva. The quality of these DVD is very good. What quality were the DVDs you purchased? Are they American releases or some crappy German or French releases? Does Rocco also release his own DVDs in Europe on the Rocco Siffredi Produzione label?
They were under the French 'Wild' label. Apart from the lack of extras, I have no complaints at all. You can select either English (original) or French language version and the visual/audio quality is great.
But like I say - its only good if you are after titles not currently available on DVD in the states. For exampel early True anal Stories, Rocco's private fantasies etc.
