If there is a segment of the porn buying population out there who is actually excited about or thinks there should be a parody of this show, aren't you alienating them by casting younger women? If they watched the show and pined for a hardcore version, chances are they didn't envision it with hot, tight-bodied cougars like the ladies who will be portraying these pop culture matriarchs. Bea Arthur and Betty White were both 63 when this show debuted in 1985. Estelle Getty, 62 and Rue McClanahan was 51. So are you really serving the target audience when you cast women ages 33 (Puma Swede), 38 (Lisa Ann and Diamond Foxxx) and 41 (Julia Ann)? MY idea for Lisa and Julia Ann was soooooooooooo much better. I mean, what's next? An "On Golden Pond" parody starring Chastity Lynn, Missy Stone and Amia Moretti? This is why rushing out a parody every other week with no thought yields mostly lackluster material. People are parodying nearly anything just to do it (I mean, "Dancing with the Stars"? Seriously?) and then doing it badly. For instance, how does HUSTLER justify doing a <bGLEE</b parody and not casting anyone to play Mercedes (Amber Riley)? Andy San Dimas, Alexa Nichole, Tara Lynn Fox, Scarlett Fay, Miko Sinz, Nicki Hunter and McKenzie Miles are all present but in all of porn valley, they either couldn't find a single black starlet, either don't watch the show or through some other miracle actually watched the show and somehow didn't notice the big sassy black girl. Yet they cast Miko who I assume will be portraying Tina, the Asian girl on the show who is a much less significant character than Mercedes has been. Has anyone called HUSTLER on the carpet for this? But since porn is apparently now in the process of spoofing every other single show in the history of TV, then why not The Golden Girls?I guess the reason for this is grounded in the same type of crazy logic that allows a porn studio to make a spoof about the Tiger Woods scandal, but without the character having sex with his wife. As for whether or not Hustler feels the need to offer an explanation, Of course not! Why would they?
