I remember seeing a porn film with a great parody of the Gong Show. It had Jamie Gillis catching ping-pong balls shot from the cootchie of a contestant. I think Wendy O'Williams may have been in it. The judges were JP Organ and other plays on the Gong Show regulars. They hit the gong with a giant dildo.
What was this flick, and can it be found on tape or dvd anywhere?

The film is Candy Goes To Hollywood and Carol Connors is the star. The credited Director is Gail Palmer but I have been told by more then 1 person that Gail Palmer never actually directed any movies. When I interviewed Don Fernando about John Holmes, he told me that Harry Mohney (who now owns the Deja Vu Girls chain of strip clubs) was the Director of Erotic Adventures Of Candy (the first of the Candy films).

I asked Bob Chinn about the claims that he directed some of the Gail Palmer movies. When I had my tape recorder on, Chinn didn't want to talk about who directed the Gail Palmer films. I have talked to crew members on the "Gail Palmer" films who confirmed that she didn't direct them. Gail Palmer
was the girlfriend of Harry Mohney. I used the adultdvdtalk.com price search and a number websites came up that sell Candy Goes To Hollywood.

In Triple-X Cinema: A Cartoon History, Gail Palmer's story about Hunter S. Thompson sexually harassing her is shown. According to the comic book, Thompson went "to trial for sexual assault. After two months, he's cleared. His account of the evening radically differs from Gail's, 'natch, but we
like hers better for some reason." I was a Research Assistant on Triple-X Cinema but I was not aware, at the time, that Gail Palmer supposedly didn't direct the movies that were credited to her.
