There is not enough demand for porn on blu-ray. Many studios have released on blu-ray only to find that they barely break even - yes even big studios. So just because YOU want gonzo on blu-ray and can't find it doesn't mean anyone is "too lazy" to do it, it means they don't want to lose money. Many of us have been shooting in hi-def for years. I would love to see Blu-ray completely replace standard DVD but for the most part, the best you are going to get is streaming HD and HD downloads from pay sites (until tube sites start stealing and uploading HD as well).
As for 3D, that's another story but it will be years before 3D TV has enough market saturation to be a consistently profitable venture. If there is still a porn business in 5 years, there will be plenty of 3D porn.
But free tubesite porn is enough for most people and whether you want to believe it or not, it's the single biggest factor in the downfall of the business. Why spend a fortune shooting a high-end HD movie with big name girls when 5 people are going to buy it and 4 of them are going to upload it to a torrent site or a tube site where a million others will watch it for free?
