I've been looking to get some more DVDs, not too picky on what it is :). anyways, i've been looking on ebay and there's TONS and it seems like tons of dvds for 1-10 dollars apiece can be had. anyone know any good sellers on ebay that have stuff real cheap w/decent shipping prices (i like it when i get each aditional disc for just 1 dollar shipping or anything). The only problem is there's just so many adult dvd's on ebay.

ok, i'll add a bit of criteria for a seller id like

1.) has cheap dvds (i like them at just 2 or 3 dollars, but am willing to spend more per dvd for higher qaulity, or to get some of my other criteria met)
2.) has a large selection of dvds on ebay so i can buy multiples from them
3.) can combine shipping cost
4.) dvd looks watchable (ie, not 80's porn :D)

I have not purchased any DVDs through sellers on Ebay. However, I do research their feedback and various seller names. Many of the smaller web retailers have a huge presence on Ebay. Many of them sell under a handful of different names. I can recommend Globalflix without any hesitations. I know the owners of the company and they are honest, ethical businessmen with close ties to some of the largest porn distributors.

I can also say that there are a number of companies that we simply will not accept as advertisers or price search participants based on the tremendous volume of negative feedback they receive on Ebay. I will not list their names here but please always read their feedback profiles. You will see a pattern where a single buyer will provide tons of positive feedback for a seller and vice versa. Some stores do this with as many as 5 different seller profiles.

About 2 years ago I sold some DVDs through Ebay. I was amazed at how much people were willing to pay. I only sold 4 discs but each of the auctions went for at least $7 more than the same NEW DVD could be found for using our price search.

Also, don't be surprised if you get bootleg DVDs when buying through Ebay. I've heard a number of reports from forum members explaining that they received what they believe to be bootleg DVDs.

thanks for moving.

why will you not list the names of bad sellers? seems like that would be good information that would save some of us some hassle. anyways.. here's an example of someone that LOOKS to me to be a good seller, granted they only sell a handfull (maybe 20) different titles, but some of them look like i could watch them.

luckydvd

-has 190 feedback, seem to be legit. 418 pos, 2 negative in past 6 months

-claims brand new, factory sealed dvd

-shipping: $5 first dvd, $1 each aditional

-accepts credit card thru paypal

-his auctions all start at 2.99, and most of them end with one bid because he has many of the same titles listed

reverend, I have bought from luckydvd via ebay with no problems. Please understand that "your mileage may vary" .

I buy LOTS of DVDs off of ebay. Generally, I look for high feedback counts (50+), low negative counts (1 per 100 or less), lots of recent transactions, and that they accept credit cards or paypal. It doesn't guarantee no problems, but it generally avoids them. I've bought at least 100 discs with no hassle.

I don't mind people listing the names of sellers that they have personally had bad experiences with through Ebay. Since I don't have any personal experience with any of the sellers I feel it's inappropriate for me to label them as bad sellers here on our site, partially because they have nothing to do with Adult DVD Talk.

Well, I can vouch for myself

I commonly offer my review copies on eBay and am a great seller.

I'm new to eBay. How do you find the adult title DVD's? Do they have a special area?
Cheers

Mature stuff is in the "Everything Else" category, under Mature Audiences. You have to jump through some kind of hoops to get access though. It's been a while for me, but I think I had to give Ebay a credit card number to verify my age.
