I just tried it to look for a thread I'm interested in, and I got page after page of DVD titles for price-search results. Tried another and got the same. So for what I'd use it for, the Google search isn't useful. [Link]

Try a price search on the title, Up Your Ass. It returns 1500 new dvds! :) Says, "Movies with 'ass' in the title". So, in some cases, I guess the way it iterprets the input is better, but in this case - it is a mess. :) I'd like it if I could force it to take my text literally. Is there a way to do this? I tried enclosing in quotes - didn't work. Any other ideas on how to control it? [Link]

Words like "up" and "your" are common and considered 'noise words' so they are filtered out by the search mechanism. I could switch to a phrase-based search when the result set is so large. I hadn't thought of that until now. [Link]
