I've thought about a thread like this, but just never started it because of that very fear, that some retards would make hateful or disrespectful posts instead of just discussing the topic. So, let's please refrain from that and have a healthy RESPECTFUL discussion. So, back to topic, there have been many performers who a lot of people loved, popular girls...but you just couldn't get yourself to really like them and their stuff for some odd reason that you couldn't even explain. Girls who are good or at least decent looking, and great performers and always give it their all and do a lot of things you enjoy watching...and still, you just can not bring yourself to really enjoy their scenes. I've had my share of that, and I really hope some of you also share your feelings about this in a respectful way as I do feel many of you feel the same way about certain performers. First name that pops in my head is Dana DeArmond. The girl has been a great performer all these years. Always brings her A game, and puts out great scenes and has a long resume of things she has done. But no matter how hard I tried, watched so many of her scenes...but just doesn't do it for me and I can't figure out why all these years. Maybe cause there was always a Bobbi Starr working at the same time, similar performers, doing the samethings Dana does, featured in a lot of casts together....but I just always found myself drawn to Bobbi, or Tori Black, or Jenna H or some of the other girls who've been featured in a lot of casts together. She deserves a lot of love and respect, for everything she's done all these years...but I just can never get myself into her stuff. Second name, would be Katja Kassin. Same reasons as above, and a true veteran of the game who is still going strong. I've tried so hard to really get into her stuff. I've enjoyed her work, but just can't call myself a real fan. A great performer nonetheless. Then there's Sasha Grey. Who in the beginning, I liked a lot, but after awhile...I just didn't enjoy her scenes at all even though she did so much in such little time. Maybe it was all the weird interviews and talks of self boasting, and talking like she's doing things no one has ever done in porn, while girls like Bobbi Starr, Annette and so many others did same things and more. Or trying way to hard to look intelligent and intellectual, but nonetheless.....she did great work, which people still remember and still WATCH and remember her, myself included. So I will mention her. There are a few others but these names stick out of the bunch for me right away. Then, out of the new lot, there's Anikka Albrite. Already a great performer who is doing a lot of things I really enjoy watching. Yet, I just can not find myself really enjoying her scenes enough to call myself a fan. Another one is Bailey Blue. Same reasons as above...I don't get it. On the other hand, there are girls I watched ONE SINGLE SCENE and found myself hooked! Just something so special about them to me, couldn't help myself. New girls, Casey Calvert. Seasoned girls, Tori Black, Bobbi Starr, Cherry Torn, Jenna Haze, Annette S. and a few others. All it took, was one single scene! Even someone like Stoya, who hardly even does porn and hasn't done anything "great" in years and last scene I really loved of hers was almost 2 years ago...yet, I still find myself drawn to her and watch her scenes nomatter how lame they are (being very frustrated). But as a general rule , there are some stars that just don't do anything for me.
