I agree 100%. It's a trend I wish would stop. My theory as to why is that it makes women appear younger, somehow. Maybe it's just a fashion statement like huge 70s sideburns. In any event, I don't find it sexy and I don't find that serves any real purpose except to show off razor burn and stubble.

Women deciding to go bald is probably like me growing a beard. I start out fine but then when I start trimming it my beard gets thinner and thinner and I fuck it up more and more...then *POOF* it's gone. Anyway, I prefer a woman to shave it bald but if her boyfriend/husband should ever stop going down on her THEN she can let it grow like a patch of weeds.

Somehow? Women aren't born with pubic hair and don't get any there for some time. Forgive me for stating the obvious.
So many themes in porn are about creating the idea or fantasy that the women are under age or close to it: The titles of various series like Barely Legal; the fact that school girl outfits are very common as is women acting like they are under age girls and not adult women. Shaving away the pubic hair adds to this.
I suppose it could be argued that another reason for the bald look is that enough hair down there gets in the way of seeing the gynecological detail, which is so common in current porn.
In any case, it is unfortunate that the bald look is so common in porn today.

lol. I don't think any of us hair supporters are in favor of women having, say, the amount of hair down there that Ron Jeremy has on any particular part of his body.
Shaving a little bit or trimming is fine and to be preferred.
Agreed. I don't mind variation, but I think a trimmed bush looks way better than a bald pussy. And the little hair we see these days is often a stripe of 100 hairs, which looks worse than both bald and hairy. Bring back some sexy bush. Early and mid-90s porn is often great in this regard, with decent bushes who were kept in control.
The "somehow" was because it's not a very convincing effect to me, and if it were, it wouldn't just put the girls at a little under age, but be to the point of being creepy and prepubescent.
